When first introduced, Toph brought a completely new personality to the group. Unlike the nurturing Katara, flighty Aang, or gruff but goofy Sokka, Toph was fiercely independent, sarcastic, direct, stubborn, and confrontational. She appeared to have the same carefree and adventurous personality as Aang and she was very tomboyish in the way she acted and dressed, in contrast to the delicate doll her parents saw her as. However, unlike Aang, who avoided fighting whenever possible, Toph loved battling and took great pride in her earth ninjutsu skills. She appeared eager to prove that she was as strong as anyone who could see and once claimed that she was "the greatest earth ninjutsu user in the world"
Toph's eagerness to prove that she could be independent led to some initial difficulties with Aang and his friends. Toph insisted that she could "carry her own weight" and often mistook a simple friendly gesture. Her encounter with Iroh, however, taught her that Aang, Katara, and Sokka cared for her because they were friends.
Toph was often brutally honest when criticizing others, especially her friends. She was vocal about her opinions on others regardless of status (the Avatar, Aang) or age (Iroh). Her occasional attitude or aloofness is likely related to her being the only child of one of the richest families in the Earth Country. Due to her time as a competitor and champion of earth jutsus tournaments, she was an expert in verbally taunting and insulting her opponents and, on occasion, her friends, particularly Sokka. She revealed to Katara that, being unable to see what she looks like, she did not feel the need to fuss over her appearance. However, despite her many quirks, Toph showed that she was a quick learner, and her courage and loyalty to her new friends seemed very stable.
Toph and Katara seemed to be polar opposites; while Katara was kind, welcoming and supportive, Toph was rough, unyielding and steadfast. These differences in personality extended to the way both girls taught Aang; however, Toph eventually showed a bit of compromise in order to help Aang through his initial difficulty with earth jutsu. Despite occasional clashes or spats, Toph and Katara generally got along.
One of Toph's most obvious traits involved personal hygiene. She was accustomed to lying on the ground and walking everywhere barefoot leaving her soles quite soiled, a habit common among the earth jutsus users. Also, she had been seen belching loudly, picking her nose or toes, spitting, and was usually covered in dirt or, as she called it, "a healthy coating of earth".
Toph was well-educated in the manners and bearings of high society— she merely consciously and constantly chose to ignore them. She made an exception when the group needed to go to a special party to see the Earth King, in order to give news of the solar eclipse, only to meet the head of the Dai Li, Long Feng.
She had high self-esteem in regard to many of her abilities and was more than determined to show that she would not let her blindness deter her from living freely and fighting like everyone else. However, sometimes this acted as a ruse to hide personal insecurities. After getting a makeover with Katara in Ba Sing Se, some residents of the city mocked Toph for it (who retaliated with a prank). She told Katara that "one of the good things about being blind [was] that [she did] not have to waste [her] time worrying about appearances" and was not looking for anyone's approval. Katara voiced that it was something she admired in Toph but could tell that she had been hurt by the insult and added that though it did not matter, she was in fact pretty, which visibly cheered up the blind girl.
In Ba Sing Se, Toph became angry when Sokka suggested that she needed help putting up fliers. She angrily slapped up a poster herself, only to inadvertently place it backwards and say, "It's upside-down, isn't it?" Also, she sarcastically complimented Sokka on his drawings of Appa despite the obvious fact that she could not see them. Later, in the Fire Country, after being presented with the same wanted poster twice, Toph vocally expressed her annoyance with the constant oversight. Toph was comfortable enough, however, with the group's absent-mindedness on the subject of her blindness to even joke about it herself at times. For example, while searching for the library, Toph, while flying on Appa, claimed that she saw it, before remarking, "That's what it'll sound like when one of you spots it," and waving a hand in front of her eyes.
While hijacking a ship, Toph mistook Sokka's comment about taking the wheel, thinking he was referring to her. By the smile on her face, it was pretty clear that she was gleeful about getting another chance to correct him. However, it turned out that Sokka was talking to Suki, and Toph managed to subsequently cover up her original intention pretty well. At the reunion in the Jasmine Dragon after the passing of Sozin's Comet, she made a joke about Sokka's drawing, saying that she thought everyone looked perfect.
Because of the restrictions placed upon her by her parents and the fact that their servants waited upon her hand-and-foot lest she hurt herself, Toph often seemed to want to take on the responsibilities and obtain the freedoms of adulthood. This caused problems for herself and her friends, most notably during their visit to Fire Fountain City, as she did not always take into account how this might put her in danger or aggravate others. No matter how she acted, though, others realized that she was still a vulnerable child underneath everything else she pretended to be.

[indent]Toph Beifong was an earth jutsus master, one of the most powerful of her time, and the user of steel release Kekkei Genkai. Weak since birth, Toph was constantly treated condescendingly because of her disability and stature, especially by her overprotective parents. Upon finding Ushiro, earth jutsus senpai, she learned how to use earth jutsus and she mastered using them.
Having developed her own unique style of using earth Jutsus, Toph acquired a toughened personality and became famous for winning underground earth jutsus tournaments under the title of the "Blind Bandit", behind her parents' backs. Although initially uninterested in directly aiding the war effort, she eventually chose to leave behind her old life, and travel with Avatar Aang and his friends as his earth jutsus teacher, when her parents finally became unbearable for her. Toph's total mastery over earth jutsus, unique personality, and thoughtful pragmatism made her a valuable addition to the team.

[indent]Toph was the only child of the wealthy Steel users Beifong family from Gaoling. Born with a weak body, she was sheltered by her parents, who believed her weak body made her fragile and incapable of looking after herself. They went to extreme measures to protect her, including hiding her existence from the rest of the world, which resulted in very few people knowing that the Beifong family even had a daughter. Poppy and Lao Beifong expected their daughter to be well-mannered and proper due to their noble status in Earth Country society, something with which Toph secretly disagreed, causing her to resent her parents' treatment.
At the age of six, she ran away from home into a cave inhabited by a human called Ushiro. Ushiro was one of the masters of earth jutsu users and according to Toph, she and him understood each other. She learned earth jutsus by imitating his instructions.
Lao Beifong later hired the earth jutsu teacher, Master Yu, to instruct her. Acting upon the orders of Toph's father, he did not teach her anything other than beginner's moves, unaware that she had already achieved mastery in the art. She became such a formidable bender that she secretly entered underground earth jutsus tournaments as the Blind Bandit, and was successful to the point where she became the champion of Earth Rumble more than once. After meeting Aang, Toph soon ran away in order to teach him earth jutsus, but also to escape her parents, who never granted her any real freedom.
after aiding Aang and his team to finish the war, Toph left them and stayed at Amegakure when it was led by the first Amekage, Vincent. there she met many people who became like her new family like Sublime, Howard, Sindy, Yard, Solf, Shin Kaito, Shinta, Frozenstein, Vincent, Ouacus, Zatanna, Leaf, Omnom, Xylon, Abon, Thoth, Akatsuki members and many other people.
Eventually some of them left Amegakure and went to other villages and some of them didn't become as active as before and eventually didn't appear. Vincent resigned from his position as the first Amekage and the Akatsuki leader and Gobi Gobletsson became her second Amekage. eventually more people came to Amegakure and Toph made new friends with more people like Worse, Zatanna, Insane Kitty, neilson, -L-, Kyle-sama, bobisacoolguy, Ushiro, Kuroh, Tsuki, Sant.. Klaus, and other many people. she became used to the new people of Amegakure and even she had her own family of amegakurians as Worse and neilson were her big brothers and Quactus (as she usually called him) is her younger brother.
Outside of amegakure, two ninjas came from the mist Lili-chwan and The mockingjay. Together they could defeat Akatsuki member Howard and Lili took his Akatsuki ring thus reserving her spot in Akatsuki and kicking Howard out of it. After turning The Mockingjay down and making her go back to Kirigakure, Lili tired to start a civil war in Amegakure against the higher-ups of Akatsuki who leaded the village by then but she was awkwardly turned down. Many days later Lili attacked Gobi in the Amekage's mansion and beat him thus becoming the new leader of Akatsuki instead of Gobi. Gobi was forced to leave amegakure with Akatsuki so he had to choose the third shadow of the rain and he chose Shinta, the third and current Amekage.
Having Shinta as the Amekage was great thing in the beginning since Shinta is a very nice who was once her training partner in suiton. Shinta started turning Amegakure from a weak-without-OP-Akatsuki village to a village that can handle its own business. After Shinta became the new Amekage more people joined the village and joined Toph's family as she called it. there was many people who became OP instantly like EdwardSama (AKA Ace.), Vegeta and Akasha. many other are still fodders like Penguin, Supreme (AKA Smirk), Moxxi, Strawberry, and L.
Many people who came after Shinta got his position left Ame. some of them were kicked out for leaking secrets like Khallil. Some were kicked for bad behavior like Solf, The Big boss, and Shouri, while some others left to explore the world.
One day Toph had a silly argument with Blake and Shinta (yes, it was very silly thing and I'm sorry) and decided to leave Amegakure. when she reached the gates she found Mikasa, Tashigi (Frozy's bios) and Yachiru (Naruta's bio), she gave her headband to Yachiru and some conversations happened after this.
Toph upon hearing that Yamato is leaving Amegakure packs her pouch with things she needs for 12 hours long journey, takes off her headband and grabs her with her left hand and heads top the Gates of the village and there she sees him, Yachiru, Mikasa and Tashigi standing at the gate.
After saying goodbyes to everyone at the gates, giving her headband to Yachiru and getting a bag of candies from her, Toph stabs her umbrella into the ground and leaves a message on it to Amegakure people then summons a swarm of locusts to carry her to Kirigakure.
However, after few seconds of flying on her swarm Toph got attacked by Nappa's honey bee's honey as if she was an invader, somehow, Vegeta was there and was able to save her before she sunk under the honey. after saying goodbye to Vegeta and Nappa, the surviving locusts carried her and continued traveling towards Kirigakure.
After reaching Kiriagkure's borderlands, some interesting things happened to Toph as well. She met Yamato who left Amegakure on almost the same time as her there. She also met Kakuzu (NK), who recently got the Mizukage title after defeating Mystogan. Being in a new Place she met some steel users like her who were there in this time like Mocking Jay and Andrej. She met some people who were recognized as enemies in Amegakure such as Delta and Icemyster and people who were once members of Amegakure, like Ed. She also met people who later became residents of Amegakure like BlackCrow, Cerberus, Ishiro, and Yashiro.
A month passed since she left Amegakure, Toph was feeling so homesick, though leaving on somehow bad terms, and not at-ease in Kiri, so she decided to take back the same route and return to Amegakure.
When she left Kiri going to Amegakure Toph was followed from behind by Icemyster but she never realized it before reaching Ame's borderlands. Afster reaching amegakure's borderlands Toph looks behind her and sees a shinobi with Kiri headband following her so she jump off the locust swarm and try to stop him from following her. She was well aware that the amekage's chakra sensed her with the chakra infused rain falling upon them so he would send reinforcement for her. Fortunately, the reinforcements were already messing around in the borderlands and they were quickly coming from everywhere.
Many things happened and Yashiro came from Kiri to ame and when Icemyster saw he turned back to Kiri because he couldn't deal with two defectors alone. After coming back to the towers area with Yashiro and the group many more things happend to her.
Toph met people who came to Ame when she was outside such as X Houdini, Skorm, Alternative and Pekoms (yeah, 3 mods in the same patch). after this, many people came and many people went..
