It blocked it because the armor can't get through. He can't stop people from touching him. The blade itself still touched him but bounced off his armor.

Onoki can touch Ay and make his body lighter or heavier at will. If his armor acted how you think it does just because it was called then that wouldn't be possible, and if you are going to claim that Ay made it that Onoki can do so then you are going to have to prove it.
