It's not only shown when you're attacked..Look at that scan of how Kishi referenced it while Gai was attacking which prevented Kisame from being able to attack because of his quick reflexes to prevent it.

Very curious to what this shows. What does this have to do with Madara being able to sense Gai coming? What this have to do with the fact that Madara was looking up to see Gai's blue steam as he said in the top left?

Madara never even had his hand covering his eyes so you're wrong considering Gai came out of the steam and to his front..The Rinnegan can also see through Charka and its points as well as invisible barriers, so why would a burst of Aura and not chakra block its view? Still trying to figure out the relevance of the scans considering

- Zetsu was behind Madara to begin with his chakra was in one spot already, what does punching through him have to do with him being able to sense? Obito punched a whole in him and he didn't expect it as well. Minato is a sensor and Naruto punched him as well with him being unable to react. How does this have to do with their chakra being there already? Gai on the other hand came from a further position so it's only normal to sense an incoming chakra from a different position

Well i'm not going to enter another long debate about it. I already argued too much about it and at this point i just prefer not wasting my time, especially when it's already hard for me to express the entirety of my opinion in English. If other one like Roronoa Zoro or MR want to continue i'll just leave them going at it and try to give my insight when i can to support the person in question.
