Simple, straightforward battle for taijutsu supremacy.

Starting distance: 50 meters
Intel: Ay knows that Guy uses the Hachimon Tonkou, while Guy knows about Ay's raiton chakra mode.
Restrictions: 8th Gate
Conditions: Might Guy can instantly hop into, and between the Gates. Ay starts out in V2 chakra mode.

If Ay pressures Guy in V2, then hows he gonna pull of Hirudora? A move that requires a couple hand signs to pull off. Same Ay that intercepted Naruto from making shadow clones in V1.

How is Ei going to even see Gai move? Tobirama couldn't even land a hit on SM Madara with an FTG blitz.(

He doesn't need gates activated to use Hirudora. Regardless, Ay dodges it with little damage.

Ay literally oneshots him.

Gai needs 8 gate. Without it he gets blitzed and dies from a single punch.

Guy isn't faster than Ay with anything less that 8 gates. Guy is better in taijutsu, much better, so he can combat opponents better in cqc than Ay or any ftg user. 7 Gates guy > edos who aren't even 100%, one of which only had a single arm U_U. Guy landed 0 hits, all were blocked :rolleyes:. Not to mention Madara didn't see Guy approach because he was shielding his face, and only noticed him at the last second. Madara killed Guy in 5 seconds (if not for Lee). You need to figure out the difference between movement and striking speed. The speed Guy approached Madara at is no different than the speed I've witnessed Ay move at, difference being taijutsu prowess and striking speed. Why do you think Gaara talked about him movements (aka his combat ability), and didn't just outright say speed, kishi carefully worded that scene.

Nah, he pressured Naruto in v1 and stopped him making hand signs. But that's not my point, my point is where is Guy gonna get the time to be performing hand signs against v2 Ay?

Guys taijutsu and striking speed > Ay. But Ays durability and Stamina > Guy. And they basically move at similar speeds in 7th gate and V2. When they're both gonna be clashing head to head in speed.

I was positive that's his 8th.

Gaara comments on Gai's speed after seeing Ei full speed and his full speed being faster via Oonoki and he still didn't compliment it the moment he sees Gai move he replies no human could move like this Ei is included... Judging by Madara's face Gai is much faster than anything thus far.(
