[Discussion] Awareness of Tobi's Identity

Who, if anyone, do you think was aware of Tobi's true identity before it was revealed to Naruto and Kakashi? Zetsu obviously knows, and Kabuto knows that Tobi isn't Madara, but who else could possibly know?

Orochimaru - If Kabuto knows then it's likely that Oro knows too

Hiruzen/Danzou - If they had any involvement in the Uchiha Massacre they may have known

Minato - It is unlikely, but he is extremely intelligent and may have recognised his own students chakra during their fight, even if the DNA was primarily Zetsu's

Nagato - Again, it is unlikely that one as powerful as Nagato would listen to anyone unless their name carries weight, so it is likely he believed Tobi to be Madara

Itachi - He seems to be in relative control of most situations he is in, plus he is extremely intelligent and wouldn't work with someone without understanding them completely

Kisame - He is the only one who saw Tobi with his mask off. Either he knows its Obito or he has no idea what Madara looks like (unless Obito used a genjutsu or face change jutsu)

Obito and zetsu knew he was obito, but that's about it. Madara never knew obito wore a mask, and so, wouldnt have been able to like a kid he rescued to a guy with a mask.

Madara and Zetsu are the only certain ones that knew and Kisame is debatable. Kakashi had slight thoughts in his head but doubted himself since he saw with his own eyes Obito being crushed. No one else apart from those could have known not even Itachi or Nagato.

Not really, when he introduced himself he said he was Madara and then theres the thought of Obito if he really would have ressurected Madara.
