well you win competitions like sig of the week or fan fic of the month

the ice cream award was and probably will only be awarded to Rei

Awards like the ice cream and the pirate hat are impossible to get now because they were only given once (the ice cream was only for Rei and the pirate hat for all the winners of the NB treasure hunt)

For blue/red medals you need to participate in NB contests, you can find those in this section

As Miss Hatake said, you can also win a cup or a ribbon if you post in the random insanity thread in the forum games section

If you post on a 50th page it's possible that you gain such an award.
