Hyuga are just born with it. The only reason we have situations like Himawari and another character from a novel awakening theirs is due to the diluted blood or rather Kishi forgot to give Hima and Boruto the byakugan and then later rectified this with an "Awakening"

The Hyuga have two Kekkei Genkai, the Byakugan and the ability to release chakra from their tenketsu points all over their body at will.

Himawari's situation is simple, her Hyuga blood has been diluted with Uzumaki genes, therefore it would seem that she has no choice but to "awaken" the Byakugan. Or it would seem that Kishimito forgot how the gaining of the Byakugan works, which is understandable given the fact that there hasn't been that much focus on the Hyuga clan.

The same thing works with the Uchiha, because of the blood dilution, most Uchiha's awaken their Sharingan with one or two tomoes rather than all three at once.

That's not Kekkei Genkai, that's known as Jyuuken which is a Hiden which the Byakugan is attuned to using.

Even Kakashi, who can see chakra can't do it. Releasing chakra from all of your tenketsu at one time is something only achievable by the Hyuga clan, it's in their genes to be able to do it.

if you count being able to release chakra from their chakra points then they do, which it technically is a kkg

No, it's a Hiden technique. Simply releasing chakra throughout your entire body to pinpoint specific areas in the body is made more efficiently by the Byakugan's insight, but it's not exclusive to the Hyugas nor is it mentioned to be a Kekkei Genkai. The only thing elucidated is that its origins lies within the Hyuga clan due to their Byakugan, but it's not classified as a Kekkei Genkai, so the only logical thing for it to be is a Hiden technique.

This is even cemented by Naruto Wiki's classification of the technique. Hiden techniques are simply "affiliated" with specific clans based on their expertise and knowledge. For example, the Nara clan's Hiden technique is their Shadow Binding techniques (stated in the Databook) because of their innate expertise in Yin Release and their knowledge revolving around it, but anyone can access the technique if they possess the necessary chakra control and knowledge in order to do so.

Maybe you can Awaken it by chakra.

Only if you're not full-blooded.

If you're a filthy mudblood like Himawari, you've got to awaken it.

Your Fanboy card is showing the hyuga have two kkg one for the eyes and one for the body. Both both work in unison clan symbol is a yin yang sign for a reason

Byakugan can see through genjutus or (use genjutus themselves) arguably better high-speed tracking ability and 360 vision

I'll pretend I didn't see this post

Hyuga fan I assess?

I could give you a definition of a Kekkei Genkai but that wouldn't necessarily help with your warped perspective

I'll say this. The ability to knead chakra to the lengths of expelling chakra needles from one's body is an ability that stems from having a Byakugan and their innate ability to manipulate chakra to great lengths
