[Question] Average Time for Bio Approval?

I read through all of the rules, and most of the forums, and still didn't see this anywhere. About how long after submission does it take before a moderator is able to look at your bio for approval/denial? Im not trying to rush anything or anyone. I would just like to know when I should check back, so that I can hit the ground running when it is time. Any help would be appreciated!

I got mine approved in 1 week, but I hear that they can take up to a month.

Yea, it really depends on the mods actual life. But 2 weeks is usual.

It all depends on how many bios there currently are that need approval, and how much time the moderator that approves has on his hands.

Right now, the amount of bios that need to be looked over are 81, or so it seems. Judging my that, the time it takes for the bio to get approved could be up to a month, although it could also get approved earlier. If I remember correctly, when I posted my bio there were 6 pages of unapproved bios already present, and that ended up taking a month or so, so if I had to guess, I'd say that it would probably be around 2-3 weeks for yours to be approved/declined.

All in all, there really is no definite answer, since it simply depends on the time the moderator has to spend on NB, and on the amount of bios that haven't been checked yet. Just be patient, and before you know it, you will most likely have an answer some time in the near future.

It depends how many bio's there currently are that aren't approved or declined. It also depends on wether this is your first bio or not. For example my first bio got approved in one day, since they are much easier to check than past a member's first bio. It also depends on the moderators' activity, if they're on vacation or have exams or something. But usually for bio's it can range from 1 day - 1 month. It can be longer or less time than that though. That's just the time span that most people get their bio's approved and like I said earlier it depends.^^
