SPOILER ALERT

What did you guys think about the movie?
I thought it was great I would have given it a solid 8/10 because I feel like it didn't explore somethings as much as it should have...like
Why did Ultron hate the The Avengers???? or why did he want to destroy the world/kill all the people???
I might have missed something but that kinda bugged me....

Was truly awesome Hulk vs Hulk Buster was my favorite and tbh Ultron wanted the Avengers gone just cuz they were a threat to his plan. He saw humanity as hopeless creatures worthy of extinction.

I still can't believe that Tony was right though:|

I liked everything except Wanda, I felt they under did her character. I dislike Pietro going in but they handled him well.

Ultron hated Stark because he was sentient and thought of himself as his own being while everyone else was saying Tony made him so that is what angered him, someone else getting credit for his being.

He wanted to kill humans because his objective was peace and humans can never attain peace is the conclusion he came to. This could be justified by what Fury said at the end as well, when he told Cap that someone will always fight (or something I've already forgotten the line lol)

The only thing I wish is that the new team had included Iron Fist and Daredevil. Maybe by the time they flesh out the Netflix shows and if they can work with Fox or gain the rights maybe we can get a Powerman and Ironfist, Daredevil, Spiderman, Wolverine and Dr. Strange team.

My post will contain spoilers, so for those who have not seen the movie and do not wish to be spoiled, you've been warned.

Ultron doesn't hate the Avengers, he thinks of them as hypocrites and false heroes. This is because of what the Avengers do; saving the world. At least, for the moment. In the short-term, they are saving the planet, but it won't matter in the long-term, as humanity will eventually just destroy the world themselves because of their greed and power-hungry nature. And the Avengers will only defend humans from the immediate threat, but what if the immediate threat was humanity itself? They wouldn't be willing to kill all those people. Which is where the Ultron program comes in. Initially, Ultron was designed to assist the Avengers. But he developed sentience, and thought of peace and defending the earth in a different way than the Avengers did. He sought to destroy the human race and rebuild it, where he would rule. There would be no war, no crime, a world populated by metal as Ultron said himself. To save humanity, it must be destroyed and then rebuilt for rule over. That was Ultron's mentality.

I thought the movie was enjoyable, it was probably on par or slightly below the previous Avengers in my opinion.

I saw it on release day with a couple friends from work, and I gotta say that I absolutely loved the movie, only because when it comes to the comic book movies, I have to have two separate ways of viewing them, 1 is Marvel Movie which means this shit is gonna be good, and I have to keep my comic book side....suppressed because I dislike how they went about a couple of things (mainly with Ultron)

But all in all I would give this movie a 9.5/10 Only reason I didn't give it a 10/10 was that Helicarrier sized plot hole during the big fight, those who don't watch Agent's of S.H.I.E.L.D. wouldn't/won't understand just how the hell Fury and Hill got their hands on the carrier from the first Avengers movie, after watching 3 of them get destroyed in Captain America The Winter Soldier. (And for you fans of the series yes that is the original from the first movie.....just not damaged.)

Also on a side note I am ecstatic to see Marvel's next movie and the start of Phase 3, Ant-Man

I think your question regarding Ultron got answered already.
So, I am going directly to the review of the film.
Few films are made for a set of audience who follow the franchise and are related to the previous installments that came before it. So does that mean the neutral audience that haven't seen previous installments shouldn't watch them? No, they can still watch the film, but they won't be able to comprehend minor plot points present in the film, which is really important in franchise oriented film, such as Avengers.
The film starts with a 'bang'. I liked that opening sequence, where all superheroes put their best efforts and retain their own personalities, such as Captain America telling them to use 'proper language' or Hulk smashing that tank and doing his own thing, without giving a shit about anyone else.lol
Then the actual roller coaster film starts, with the introduction of Ultron and his twisted ideology about 'humanity and human beings'. Ultron, even if is really portrayed pretty well, never scares me. Speaking of which, both Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch got introduced really well in the plot. I liked the way Scarlet Witch is portrayed throughout the film, her development from 'Ironman hater' to 'an avenger', is shown really well, alongside good acting. I wanted Quicksilver to stay for a next film or something, instead he dies in the final act.
Another character I liked was 'Vision', the sequence between him and Ultron is a really splendid one. Another USP of the film is, Black Widow and Hawkeye got some good sequences and a bit of screentime and exposure, rather than being sidekicks. Hawkeye particularly impresses me. Black Widow's dream and her past, on the other hand, could have been explored further. Speaking of which, Hulk and her love story is another thing I didn't like about the film. It isn't handled properly and leaves a really big question, 'was it really needed??".
The war machine, The Falcon, and Nick Fury just do their job, not much is expected from them anyways. There are few continuity problems in the film as well, typically if we relate it to previous Marvel films, such as that 'Helicarrier sequence', it is difficult to figure out, from where Nick Fury pulled that out?? (after 'Winter Soldier')or the entire 'infinity stones' stuff, which will be explained in the next installments, I believe.
There is also that typical 'Marvel Humour' in the film and you might like it, if you are a Marvel fan.
So, film gets 8/10 from my side, it is must watch for Marvel fans, but if you are going to theater with the thoughts that you are going to watch a 'milestone film', maybe you should reconsider.
