I'm sorry but I don't like any of those avatars. Pretty much all of them are low quality which automatically makes them bad. They are also fairly bright which doesn't appeal to the eye so yea tone that down by burning off the necessary parts. The borders don't help your case either. If you can't get it right, just leave it out. They can destroy avatars at times. Playing around with the adjustment layers would also help you; gradient maps and such. Anyways, sorry for being harsh, but yea, try to get better.

Basically my judgment as well. Look at others works, you need to focus on facial features and other things that pop out.

There needs to be a balance and such. Can't just all be brightened and darken.

Thanks, for the Constructive Criticism. I will try to get better. And I am quite a begginer and don't get all the functions of everything in Photoshop.
