Avatar's I made (Non Premium) with black borders, I just started using GIMP so I'm not to familiar with it yet but I'll get better as I go. Any advice/tips would be great, thanks!

no offense but it does not look like you did anything other then take a picture size it and add border?

i mean some of them look ok but as a gfxer your suppose to take it and make it stand out not just crop stocks.....take some tutorias there is plenty out there

The videos I watch so far seem so confusing and they go to fast, maybe I'm watching the wrong ones because I'm not learning nothing from them.

I dont know about you but written tutorials that have pictures actually seem less confusing and are well slower since you dont need to keep up with the video. lol its not much help but try some written tuts! anyways they look nice even if you cropped them (not saying you did though :|)

Thanks, I'll read some & yeah, I resized, framed it how I liked and then added borders. I just started so people can't expect me to be pro lol
