[Question] Avatar

Can two members have the same avatar? I mean, if I liked an avatar of some other member, can I have it too? I mean, even if I ask for permission and the guy takes too long to reply, can I have it without his permission? Or, do I have to wait for him to give me permission? Because my premium gets over in some days and I want to make full use of it.

No, you can't just take someone avatar. The best thing to do is go to the GFX section and request someone the make you an avatar, that way you can call it your own in a matter of speaking, and not just stealing someone else's, most people won't give permission to allow someone else use the same avatar as them, you could say it kind of defines them as a member.

There's no rules against that, I remember 10 guys having a gif of Madara at the same time, so I guess there isn't. However, you can't just take one. The one who owns it ''legally'', can easily accuse you of ''theft'' and therefore you're avatar is removed by the mods.

You need permission to take that avatar, always.

But the people here don't like that, you're gonna get bashed because of ''imitating someone else'', and people will send you VM's that was supposed to send to your friend.

Idk the Madara fans seem pretty cool about sharing avatars, though I've had 1 complain when I got the Madara "Call me" gif as my sig when he also had it. -.- You're better off just finding a render and having somebody edit it.

If the avatar has been specifically made by/for that person, you should never take that, especially not without permission. If it's just a random pic from the internet with no effects added, it should be okay though, as in that case the other person won't have any more right to it than you.

The best thing to do would be to go to the GFX section and have someone create a similar avatar for you, to avoid conflict and confusion.​
