Cassius was still oddly entranced with the girl as they walked. Her very existence still eluded him as she spoke, wondering how a fellow waterbender could be so off the radar to him, he was 'in' the network- he should've known everyone, which usually would've given him reason to fret or be suspicious of the person, was there a reason she was never mentioned? But he was too interested in her to raise such rude questions. She lived on the outside and was an orphan, so there probably was a good reason.

"You know the elders?! You must be pretty important too then if you're personally requested by the likes of Master Pakku! What, are you like really super strong or something? and only called in for super secret missions?!" Cassius was accidentally dropping his mature and contained persona and dialect, a rarity. He coughed upon realising and deepened his voice. I mean, that's very interesting- i'm glad we could be introduced."

Upon hearing her disappointment to his role he quickly snapped, "the role of Yagoda's aide is a very prodigious and highly-esteemed job! Yagoda is one of the most important officials in the entire water clan and she has no other successor. When there's an incident, a battle or a disease (Cassius momentarily paused and shivered) ....i'm the first one they call. I think you might honestly be the only person in this city who doesn't know who I am." He said surprisingly smugly, showing off to the girl. "They don't call me the Male Medic for nothing. And anyway, once Yagoda's time is over I will be a Water tribe official"....You could practically see his eyes shimmering.

Ignoring her final question Cassius reminded himself of his mission and moved up the pace a bit, hoping to politely lose her in the winding maze of paths.

"You could say that....and my apologies for offending you, Cassius....but..." Noticing he started moving faster than usual, Aurora caught his leg with a water whip, tripping him as he took his next step, making the scroll he was hiding slip out of his coat. Have you tried to learn anything from it?!? Answer me!" At this, she tensed her muscles and formed another combat water sphere, ready to be melded into anything she needed, while she held Cassius' leg with her other hand holding the water whip.

"You could say that....and my apologies for offending you, Cassius....but..." Noticing he started moving faster than usual, Aurora caught his leg with a water whip, tripping him as he took his next step, making the scroll he was hiding slip out of his coat. "I know you're hiding something." As she said that, she noticed the scroll. "Oh? What's this....this seems to be from Lady Yagoda's personal library...." Unraveling the scroll, she was silent for a moment, realizing what it was depicting. "Bloodbending....the forbidden water art. How did you get this?! Did you steal it? Have you tried to learn anything from it?!? Answer me!" At this, she tensed her muscles and formed another combat water sphere, ready to be melded into anything she needed, while she held Cassius' leg with her other hand holding the water whip.

So the streetrats a bloodbender huh?"

Her reaction was initially speechless, but Cassius knew to cut her off before she could react, picking his words carefully he slowly begun to stand up, even with the water pulling him down, his offensive waterbending may have been lacking to contend with her but his physical strength was one to be underrated. Nurse was growling and jumping in front of her master. "Nurse, calm down." She kept barking. "NURSE!" he shouted, in a huge booming voice that changed the atmosphere entirely. "Yeah. I need to know about bloodbending. Council's orders. It's medical benefits are countless, can bring so much to the field of heal- sorry can I heal this?"Gesturing to his captured knee he grimaced in pain, "I fractured it last week and there's no need for us to be doing this, it seriously hurts". The intimidated and now-quiet Nurse came to his side and offered her medical pouch to him.

Cassius smiled and stood up, his knee totally intact.

"Night night" he smoothly whispered as he motioned the liquid into her arm. With enough cunning and timing, a little bit of subtle waterbending was all you needed to win a match. The sneaky medic would never dream of taking on such a powerful bender as her outright, her sheer power far outweighed his, but trivial factors like that didn't matter- because the duel was over in 3 seconds. The medical operation had gone exactly as calculated.

The next thing Aurora saw was the blinding light of a lamp. She was in an ominous empty room, the walls were made of stone and her few surroundings included sheets of data, a certain forbidden scroll and a very nursing medic dog happily wagging her tail watching the test subject. Aurora was on a cold metallic operating table, she had a giant fresh scar running down her left underarm, in a shady part of town no normal villager would recognise. Slowly, failing to attempt a dramatic entrance Cassius casually strolled in and checked her temperature as if doing a mundane check-up. "Ah hello Miss Aurora, sorry about that. Offensive iatric bending is so uncivilised." He said slightly mockingly. He didn't look her in the eyes as his own darted around her body making countless calculations. "Don't try moving those legs of yours by the way, I cut the nerves temporarily- hope you don't mind."

He sat down on a chair and surveyed his newly made data with proud, playful eyes. "I hate making bad first impressions but you put me on the spot there street rat. That tactic is usually intended for wild polarbear dogs, the tranquilizer too so- "he passed it off as some kind of joke "sorry for being a bit rough, if anything it's a compliment. Now...you've been out for about a day and we have a loooot to talk about. Any questions?"

"Jekyll/Hyde? Wow, you really believed that awkward little posh kid act? See it's reasons like that why you ended up here, with your leg ligaments torn and barely dressed. As for my chivalry skills i'll just have to merely apologise. Pleasantries come after scientific research i'm afraid."

..."Your polar bear dog didn't react so nicely to your treatment, but you know I said the serum can knock out a polar bear dog? Well, I can confirm that it most definitely does. The overgrown dog is chained out back. He's unharmed of course, the bloodbending orphan powerhouse is the main show so I wouldn't touch a hair on his lovely head. You on the other hand...aha, he might not be too happy to see you..." he smirked off into the distance and swung open a door behind him, there lay the polar bear dog shivering chained to the wall. Cassius had successfully contained the monster, and he wasn't talking about the dog.

And what are these plans...you want me to help you with..." finishing that statement, she noticed Borealis, and began to tear up. "B....Borealis....you said you didn't hurt him!" At that, she unconsciously made the water around her rise, and turn into weapons, aimed for Cassius. "Fix me and release me at once or I will kill you..." Realizing that that was probably a stupid threat, she reconsidered, and lowered the weapons. "Damn it. You really do have me in a corner, you bastard. Fine...just tell me what you've done to me...and Borealis... and what you want me to do....and I'll see what I can do...."
