Maybe white or reddish? Black or red border for sure though (for the bottom one).

This'll be close to perfect for me if you remove the red and black stuff and add a nice thin red border

It's very good, still not crazy about the background effects, just seems a little bit plain. Excellent so far dude though

Ok, make the border a little bit thinner, and show more of the trainer (i.e. show his cap and pokeball) and i'll take it.

ok a 3rd try is a charm I added some stuff to the background and made it alil darker plus a lil surprise
