I once entered a SoTW of another forum and the theme was biohazard, so I wanted to create a signature with a girl wearing a gas mask, you can figure the rest out by yourself

I thought about it, but I don't know if people will react negatively towards this thread because of that. So, I've kinda held back. Now I might do what you suggested, but I'd have to properly form a VM using all the right words.

Here's a few reasons as to why I thought of this idea and why it's different from the avatar/signature dump thread.

1.) That thread, just from the title, states that it's a dump. The point of the thread I plan on creating is not to dump avatars. They are newly-made avatars that will be showcased, and if the creator chooses so, will be for use to members.
2.) The dump thread is made of 79 pages. It is simply too much of a hassle to want to use an avatar that, for example, was found on the first page because you'd have to go through 78 other pages accounting for over hundreds of posts just to see whether or not you can use it. This is basically new, with no one having used said avatars.
3.) Other posts containing avatars will not be allowed. The original post is the only post to have avatars for use/to share.
4.) It will allow users to easily navigate to a preferred GFX'er. I will format it so that the username of the creator and his profile picture/current avatar will be beside the avatars contained in spoiler tags. Now you may be thinking, "They can go to the posts of their preferred GFX'er and see if they posted in the dump thread." Well, that only saves up to 100 posts right? Most users, including me, have posted far more in different sub-forums after posting in the dump thread. That, combined with the hundreds of other posts in the dump thread... You can see the inconvenience.
5.) It will show a working community that all communicate politely and assist each other to make grand things. Something that is rare in other sub-forums of this site these days to be honest.
6.) I don't see the problem with this in general. To flame, spam, or anything else negative is not an intention. If we, specifically I (since this was my idea and no one else is to blame), were to get infracted/banned for this, then it is fate (/stay night).

Like you said in number 3, just make a huge post. That was my idea to begin with. I was simply wondering if it was allowed.

Edit: I just realized the title was very misleading. This is not a thread for collecting avatars. This is a thread made as a compilation of all avatars I've ever made and to send out the message that I was planning on creating a massive post.

Azu and I, as I'm sure you already read, are planning on creating a tag together. Would be fun if you were to help us out as well. All of our skills combined would probably make a really great tag-probably the best tag of 2015. (Needless to say the year's only started; but it's irrelevant.)
