Are you saying I should delete my post? Im sorry but Im not gonna do that. Why would you back out just because you are afraid someone more skilled is gonna win. I have said this many times to people. This is not a contest for skill, its a contest to find a avatar/sig that suits me best and that I like. There is no poll, no one see's your entry besides me. I decide the winner hands down. So to drop out because you think you are gonna lose so it isnt worth your time, then so be it. But personally I think that just saying you cant fit it in because of exams would have been fine. You saying you choose not to compete because of your skill level compared to other contestants is just shameful. I hope you reconsider and rejoin the contest but if you dont want to, then I understand.

Gifs will allow people to rip stuff from the anime and tumblr, thus diminishing creativity...

I was mainly referring to adding some nice animated effects. Of course, ripping off the anime isn't creative at all, but those entries surely won't be picked. And since Gaara handpicked the GFXers, I'm sure the contestants won't do so either.

You can use some animated affects like shimmers of snow flurries or what have you. Just dont include anime clips. Its clear from the poll people dont want gif's used so, the rule stands.

Just like I tell everyone, There is no poll. No one see's your entries til after I decide the winner. I pick, and I pick alone. Also this is a contest to find a avatar and signature, That I LIKE. It is not about who made the best, or who is the most skilled. Anyone can create one that I prefer and I want to use. Skill is not a necessity. Believe in yourself, and have a good time trying. And lissen up, I didn't chose to compete only because there are alot of good gfx'ers taking part.
I could compete and even win from most of them (I'm not that bad you know right?), but that would take too much time and effort which I preffer to use for my finals which come up in a couple days. That's all I'm saying bro, not hating or anything.

An When the first thing you say is "I'm out, too many good Gfx'ers" then talk about finals which werent a problem when you agreed to join before all the "good gfx'ers" showed up. Then I can figure out that you didn't want to put effort into something you dont think your gonna win which to me was shameful. To bow out because competition got to tough? normal image for the avy, maybe gif for the signature... Most of the people that said no is only because they are not good at it... I normally make gifs, and had a great gif idea for you already man, I'm sure you will like it
