I'm. Just putting stuff but I compared naurto characters with avater ones and gave exaples of y I think so

Naruto=Aang- both or good with air element. Both have other spirits inside them

Sakura=katana- both have healing abilites and are the strong female support charater

Sasuke=zuko- both outsiders who have a bond with the main character and great with fire nd lighting

Kakashi=king boomy bout earth users and laid back. But kick ass when have too

Ucihai clan=the fire nation. Both master fire and both wanted to be in charge for themselves

Madara= fire lord ozi both truly the strongest besides the main character and want the world and there image.

Obito=uncle both work for the bad guy but knoe its wrong. yes obito will sucuum to the naruto effect lol

I actually am kinda seeing Ozai as being more of an Orrochimaru now. To elaborate, he betrayed his childhood comrade (Avatar Roku to Jiraya) and set about to use force to accomplish his own goals. Course, you could make a lot of different comparisons and fit them based on specific facts as you wished.
