[Autodesk Maya 2011] No grid

Hello all... i just downloaded maya, but i know the basics of Autodesk Mudbox. THere is no grid in maya, its ticked but there isn't G of Grid :S Help please.

I tought that House is mod While asking a mod to transfer the thread, any reply bonded with the concept of the thread?
