[Suggestion] Auto-Correct Plugin

I guess introducing the auto correct plugin will be of good your while creating thread or replying to post. It will be more helpful while replying to battles and trainings in the RP. Like all the replies in RP or on any Versus or Theory threads involve wall of text. most of the people are fast typers and can make a lot of typographical errors like.

"And" as "Amd" or "nad" or something like that. Theses kind of errors are more common with people. MS Word and other text editing softwares have a plugin called the "Auto correct" which automatically corrects these kind of typographical errors by itself. By this it saves the time of going through the replies all over again before submitting for silly minor mistakes. Just a suggestion. I think this plugin if introduced will be more useful for the members while replying to the threads. Comments are welcomed.! ^^ ​

The forum already highlight the grammatical or spelling errors, there is only need for the people is to recheck it once they've finished typing, i think it just takes an instance to find those, you know

auto correct can become problematic. i have it on my ipad and it was annoying the shit out of me so i turned it off

Auto correct would be a horrible idea as it would pick the words at random. Unless you want to create a new auto correct that somehow picks up the grammar error in one word and corrects the error, instead of suggesting an entirely new word.

I agree with Roby-san though if it just corrects it instead of giving you a new or unneeded word.

We don't know if Vbulletin has an Autocorrect Plugin, but I would not like it, as it's annoying as hell. Instead, proof reading your wallies is better.

This is stuff Zise and such decide, but personally I don't like it and would cause more problems than solve them IMO. When I'm typing, my computer automatically underlines potentially wrong words with red, so for me it's already easily noticeable when I made a typo and I assume most people have something like that on their computers. This is also how it's installed on my MC Word. Having a program that actually changes the world that it considers to have been written wrong would be just annoying. That's what many people have on their Iphones and from what I understand more than one finds it annoying when their phone starts changing their words into other words because it thinks that word is the one the write wanted to use.

Fact is that if your write something like 'adn', most people will realize you just made a typo. However an auto-correct program would change it always into a meaningful word, but it's far from certain it's the word you wanted to use. As a result people might start thinking you're an idiot that doesn't know the meaning of the words you are using.

This is too much of a hassle for what is not really a big issue. Also I don't think it causes any harm of people check their own posts more thoroughly instead than relying on an auto-correct if you really don't want to have a single error. This counts double for when you are writing long posts for debates as then it's expected of you that you actually placed some effort into it.
