I'll use the Main character as an example. Although one could say that things accomplished by in a non-plot influenced out-of-character Naruto outside the Manga is possible, a naruto within plot cannot be attributed such feats. People glorifying Naruto's punch to toneri for example, as a feat attributing to his strength is 100% wrong. Naruto met the limits of his power when he acquired Sage mode and he met the limits of the Kyuubi's power (an extention of his own) when he gained full access to it's power. The Kyuubi can't get "stronger" or "more powerful" and what naruto could grown on his own power wise would never be enough to effectively advance his striking power to such a level.
