So I've been hearing about this series, but I have no idea whats it's about. Just the hype for it. Im thinking of getting into it, but if I did should I go manga or anime? I heard the anime is amazing (quality wise), but whats the difference between the two in terms of distance in story? Meaning this a case like Naruto where the manga is LEAGUES ahead of the anime, and the anime has lots of filler? Or is it pretty cut and dry between the two? Also how long is the series?

Do the anime first and stay away from the manga until the first season of the show is over.. you'll be occupied with 24 episodes until the last one comes up this saturday. Stay away from youtube comments or anything that you might suspect might spoil you. Trust me I was just like you but when I started watching the anime I fell in love with it.. right now the current episode is at chapter 32-33 and there are 49 chapters overall.. the manga comes once a month.

DOOOOO IIITTTTT WHAT R U WAITING ON!!!!! Ur gonna love it. And yeah go with the anime first then manga.
Because the anime is quickly catching up to the manga.. they need to let the manga get ahead of the anime so we can get more content so we might need to wait year or more til the anime comes back.

Ahhh. Got it, so its just a break. Well what the hell then, now Im even more pissed off at the lazy ass animators of Naruto. I haven't watched Attack on Titan yet, but if the animation is as good as people are hyping it up to be, and they can afford to take a year long hiatus to let the manga proceed, THEN WHY DO WE NARUTO FANS HAVE TO GET STUCK WITH BAD ANIMATION AND FILLER

What i'm doing, I read like 2-3 chapters total each month, and not the whole thing up to the newest chapter, to avoid the wait, and I just watch the anime, just to enjoy the animation, and watch all the anime watchers only, flip their sh-t.

Did you read my previous post? The first one I made? Yeah I don't know whats with the Naruto anime and the animators who are responsible but I guess theyre either having budget problems or they're just cheap and lazy. Naruto has been going on longer as well so idk but yeah the animation, soundtrack, voice action, and just everything IMO is phenomenal. Watch it ^_^

The emotions and feels this manga invokes reminds me of some.of the old classics (Bebop, Kenshin, Hakusho).
No one is this overwhelming impossible god complex (like Naruto, Madara, and Hashirama are power wise).
Watch the beautifully animated episodes to episode 25, (though it isn't put yet), and then read. The story is about half way behind the manga... The manga being almost an arc ahead with 50 chapters with the new chapter next month.
Even if you choose to read first, you'll still enjoy the anime! I do both, and I love them equally!
