should i start reading the manga? or wait for the anime to start again?

Read the manga, the manga is just a little over halfway done. The anime covers like 3/4 of the manga. The manga started in 2009 so it took 4 years to come to this point. So for another 25 episodes, you would need to wait about 3 more years, unless they make fillers which i doubt they will.
