I thought Eren was distancing himself from Mikasa & co to spare them from the suspicion of the Survey Corps, but I guess not. The only other reason for his distancing that I can think of is that he wants Mikasa/Armin to join Zeke once he betrays them, but that's not very likely either. Maybe he's intending to release a few of them from the cage on the basis that they seem to be favor of the plan because of Armin's tears.
