Attack on Titan is good, but overrated .

Everyone has their opposing opinions on things. I'm sure there are things you like that I would think are overrated, but I wouldn't call you out on it.

But I think the manga is great, getting a little boring now but it has a good story.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good manga and I enjoy it and all, but does it really deserve all the praise it gets? It doesn't in my opinion, there are so many better manga's/anime's thn Attack on Titan out there . What's your take on this?

Well that' a matter of opinion but in the end , the manga is on the top & people love it . Everything that is on top will always be call overrated .

Definitely overrated. The plot, story line, characters are good. The artwork sucks and the anime is the only thing that kept me watching but it went on break so I had to put up with the shitty drawing.

Do you pay to watch/read the anime/manga? If not gtfo, but if yes, still gtfo.

Its not that straight forward.
One calls something out as overaated when the subject in question is praised in departments to questionable lengths.
Bleach is considered one of the BIG 3 yet is constantly plaing in between 5-7th place in sales.Bleach is clearly not being overrated.

I wholeheartedly agree...the story is spooky and thrilling, but I feel it's not as good as ppl make it out to be. I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10.

Just because it's on top doesn't mean it's necessarily the best, but whatever floats le boat.

Like I said , it's a matter of opinion , to you is not , to others might be , does it matter ? No I don't think it does , every manga has it's fanbase & praise it the way they want , but if people want to play manga reviewers then whatever floats their boats too .

It's my second favourite manga out of the four I read.
Overrated manga are Naruto and Bleach. They shouldn't be considered part of the ''big three'' any more.

I love reading SNK and enjoyed the anime as well ! It has good storyline. I would not over-rate it. I'd give it 8.5/10.

Really? I actually find the series to be underrated. I don't really care though because I read and enjoyed it, and don't need anyone else's opinion on the matter. Why does everyone else? It's as if you're trying to defend your favorite series, and knockdown anything that threatens it's popularity, or comes near to surpassing it.

The story is solid, the characters are pretty great, and the tone is so dark. I'm not saying AoT is the best series ever, but it's some damn fine story telling. I'm also impressed with the writers having an exit strategy, they aren't planning to leech off of their series' success like the big three.

BTW does anyone have any recommendations as far as other similar Manga I may like? I've never really read anything outside of the "mainstream stuff" (Kenshin, DB, Yu Yu Hakusho, Naruto, Death Note, and AoT).

Compared the fillers we get from Naruto, the prolongation of one piece, and the now ended Bleach and Fairy tail it is the best in ANIME.

Manga however, it doesnt have the same thrill as the anime (the music, the pace). Its not as suspenseful and therefore in those terms it isnt that great.
The Anime is great, but Manga is not.

Now with this break I now many, including myself, have read the manga and lost interest in the show merely because the manga just doesnt give you the whole package that the anime gave, which gave AOT that jump start.
