[Discussion] Attack on Titan episode 24

I don't read the manga, so please no spoilers.

This was a great episode, and like all the others it ends with a cliff-hanger; Right before Round 2 of the fight between Annie and Eren. One thing puzzles me though: What the hell was that preview at the end?

"I'll exterminate them all. Every single ****ing one. The same wrath that made the young Eren take this vow, now urges him on once again... Onward to destroy this entire world."

WHAAT. Will Eren go berzerk again and start destroying Sina district?

And another week I wait.

Anyways a bunch of it was filler scenes that wasn't in the manga but the last part of the episode was freaking BA.

this mother****ing show is too badass for its own good.!!

wow was it awesome.!!

Mikasa was such a badass.!!

every little detailing of the animation was just majestic.!!

cant wait for the next one.!!

i think this show has the most realistic dialogues of all anime series.!!
unlike others, with the same power of friendship and crap.!!
unlike other anime dialogues, the dialogues in this series are realistic and you actually buy what they are trying to say.!!

I did not enjoy this episode as much as I should have. Filler was bad IMO.

I mean the episode was great, but Mikasa getting owned at the end was a disappoint.


ESPECIALLY because this was basically 100% Filler once the floor caved in on Eren. Sadly it had to be done because the where they plan to end the season finale (based on the fact they went virtually full filler) it will be pretty mind blowing for the non-spoiled watchers ^.^

I always read the chapter after to compare and I noticed that they did add a lot. But how does Mikasa look bad at all? She was fighting Annie the entire episode, Levi's squad are professionals and they had 3 people but they all died in like 2mins. Mikasa was soloing Annie for half of the episode and Annie only managed to hit her wires and knock her to the ground.

And since I don't read the manga until the episode comes out it was all new to me. Nothing felt like filler, I was surprised that it was.

Attack on Titan Episode 24

Just watched it and it was so badass! For anyone who reads the manga, I think most of them will be pretty happy with the change up they added! Yes it was different to the manga, but that was a sick as episode!!

Agreeeeeeed. Dude I had ALMOST forgotten how badass eren was as a titan but this definitely made me remember. I'm starting to like Mikasa more too, she doesn't seem totally obsessed anymore and went back to being badass as well. I liked the change ups from the manga, making jean look cool again and showing more of their switcheroo they did. I also liked how they changed the way eren transformed, this made it look way more beastly and a lot less random

It was a badassssss episode. The flow of the story as well as keeping us tight with the hairs standing from start to end. Just pure Epicness. Even the end of the episode keep us more waiting for the next chapter.
It is all because of a badass animation to a badass story :hooray:

Yes agreed with the people above me. I think the animation is just incredible and keeps getting better. They're doing a good job at building tension for this one crazy moment that's about to happen. So I hear next episode is the last one for awhile, is that true? If so, I think it's a great idea, it'll keep the anime true to the manga! They should have done something similar with soul eater

Yeah its the last episode.. Kinda sucks tho I love it so much! I hope it will return october 2014 cause can't wait to see (especially the last 3 manga chapters) into anime!
