@Indra: I agree with just about everything you said. The only point I'd argue is that you can't take some of the things Sasuke said about Sakura too seriously (especially in the last few hundred chapters), because Sasuke was lying to himself about a lot of his feelings, or was otherwise confused. I'm not saying that automatically implies that Sasuke was hiding romantic feelings for Sakura (which, as you say, were never dealt hinted at or developed), but at least it's worth considering while reading Sasuke's cold comments about Sakura.

I would say whether or not Sasuke was lying or hiding his feelings is a bit strange, because even in the end Sasuke clearly talked about his feelings to Naruto quite easly;

I. Said that aside from Itachi, Naruto was his only true close blond
II. Said that NARUTO was the one who made him think of his family
III. Said that Naruto was his best friend.

Then you compare it with what he said a few chapters before, it doesn't really add up that he would hide his feelings.

Kishi didn't bother with SS love story since both characters involved already been ruined by the manga itself, that "contrived" excuse is just bs spouting from Kishi's ass, but i agree with the love story shit ruining Naruto's character, letting a perfect jin fall into genjutsu for the sake of noticing a fodder loves him is nothing but bs if you ask me

It's not like care about the movie anyway, the Last was nothing but filler garbage :bdpf:

Well, Naruto was always the only person who could relate to Sasuke. Kishi wrote it that way. Sasuke viewed Naruto as an equal, both in terms of power and in terms of being able to relate to him. It makes sense that Sasuke would talk to Naruto, but not to anyone else.

Even when Sasuke was attempting to be honest with Naruto, describing what being "Hokage" means to him, Sasuke was still lying to himself. He acknowledged his latent feelings in his monologue at the end (although it was vague).

I'm typing this on a phone with swipe... sorry if there are typos.

It's because Sasuke wanted to cut ties with everyone. That's why he never showed his true feelings. He chose to walk the path of darkness and ignored the, "failed past," that he could have had..that and he's a tsundere. A MAJOR tsundere.

you clearly don't understand Naruto's character at all. The point is, is that Naruto had never experienced romantic love before. Words won't be enough to make him understand since he always learns through his body. The thing is is not noticing Hinata, it is just that he has feelings for Hinata but doesn't realise it yet. If Hinata was fodder, then why did Kishi say that she is his favourite female character?
As for The Last, sorry but Kishi's words>your logic
