It's now official...Gai despite using the Eight Gates which was hyped to kill the user after giving them great power is going to live.If a character can survive using a supposed one shot technique that kills you afterwards, then nobody important is going to die.

So yeah....Kishi isn't going to kill any of the good guys.First Obito and now Gai,everybody has the Immune from Death plot shield.Which means the war is nothing but a one sided drawn out battle where there is no tension because now everyone who is important won't die.

It's sad really,Kishi is so terrified of having characters die that he intentionally has to retcon aspects of his story.The Eight Gates danger is basically non-existent now.

Gai will die anyway. Naruto just spiked a bit of the life fore/chakra in Gai - but just barerly then pulled his arm off either accepting he can not save Gai or it is impossible to Save Gai. The only thing Naruto did is prolonging Gai's life so we will get last words of Gai to Lee and Friends just like Asuma....

Shounen is not Disney,where did you even get that?Bleach,Attack on Titan,and many more have had characters killed off...often in brutal ways.

If there aren't going to be any deaths in Naruto then don't ****ing make it sound like somebody is going to die when they're not.Kishi has done this crap before and it's annoying.
