I agree. I don't even know what mod did it. If I did, I would pm them.
They asked me to removed my sig, I asked why and he said no swearing, and I removed it. U_U I'm not a troll.. I'm a wanna-be troll.
And that's the exact reason as why we rarely do that. The amount of threads we delete a day is quite high in number. Not only would it take a lot of time PMing all those people just to state the obvious, but you can be sure most of them would try to argue with you about it. A futile discussion as the mod isn't going to undelete the thread just because you complain. So overall it would be completely pointless to Pm people when we delete their threads.
If it was really necessary to say something about it, the mod would just close the thread and explain why it was closed in a post in the thread. If a thread got deleted, then by default it was for very obvious reasons that don't really need much justification.
I'm not going to bother PMing you for deleting a thread titled "It's lord Sasuke time!" that contained half a sentence:
Finally... enough of these fodders! Lets get back to Sasuke.
That thread was so pointless as it could possibly be and was just a waste of space. There have been enough threads about people wanting Sasuke back the last few weeks and you could have just made that post in the official predictions thread. So the correct question here is not "why did my thread got deleted?" but "why the hell did I even make such a thread?".
Somehow I don't think they are as "busy" as people say they are all the time. Yes, during certain times (maintenance, troll outbreak, etc) they might have their hands full but for the most part they can take the time to tell you why your thread was deleted.
Well, at least if it was a legitimate thread originally. xd
And that's what you would call complete ignorance. The little free time we do have we would like to browse the forums ourselves as I can guarantee you we do a hell of a lot more than what you just described.
