Not if he's trying use his Water Bubble, which he's only shown to do when he's getting attacked.

The only one comparing Burning Ash to TBB is you. You brought it up even though Suigetsu was obliterated by it even with a giant lake at his disposal, and when he has no water source he needs to carry a water bottle just to keep himself hydrated.

Suigetsu isn't fast enough to dodge it. It's too wide spread and too fast.

It would be more effective on Suigetsu. The guy gets exhausted just from being in a dessert, imagine how dehydrated he'd get in a huge cloud of flames.

I see the point you're making but it's not like Suigetsu entered the Desert and became instantly dehydrated.

Maybe i'm jumping to conclusions too quick but I'd assume he became dehydrated after walking in the desert for a while.

Think about it in a short term sense since this is just a fight and lasts 5-15 minutes. But suigetsu can use water style and counter Asuma's fire anyway. Like the others have said earlier, he's not going to stand in the ash like Hidan did (justified because Hidan was trying to begin the ritual).

Good point on the water bottle i'll give it to you. The ash does destroy his vision so he won't see fire coming and can't counter.

But I honestly don't think Asuma is good enough at fire style (not that he's bad) to 1 shot suigetsu. Yea the fire style burnt him, but it didn't leave him out of condition fighting-wise. If Suigetsu got hit a few times by fire, then yea I'd say he would be out of the fight.

I think i've changed to Suigetsu high difficulty though. This isn't a stomp after thinking about it.

I'm assuming if Asuma is being used in character he'll go with Taijutsu first like he did with Hidan/Kisame. Obviously he'll realize Suigetsu is made of fire which makes me think Asuma will assume Fire won't work because he's made of water.
