C'mon guys I love Naruto but the best manga of our generation? No. Naruto is one of my personal favorites but in my opinion One Piece is generally better written. It has yet to feel rushed and has so much more to give.

Naruto did have something special about it missing from other similar manga. The philosophical themes and such. I think kishimoto was in a hurry to finish it and as a result the final product will suffer.

I definitely agree that One Piece is far superior.

The thing about Naruto is it was great until Shippuden when it went from Naruto's wanting to become hokage and all that to trying to save Sasuke and craete world peace. The themes in Naruto are incredibly immature, naive, and short sighted. And that's another area where I think One Piece is far superior. I think Luffy's fight with Vivi had a much more mature undertone and understanding of the situation, and it showed Luffy isn't a total idiot. But Naruto's a total ****ing idiot and he even admits it. Part 1 was solid, I wouldn't call it amazing or anything, but it was pretty good, but part 2 just fell apart with the themes, the plot, and the execution. One Piece is just so much better all around than Naruto.
