Asspull no jutsu is not so bad

Fairy Tail, One Piece and Bleach are always giving nakama power up to Natsu, Luffy and Ichigo. Naruto didn't get the chance to get Nakama power up coz Naruto didn't have many true friends. HIs only friend Sasuke was a rogue ninja

THere has been very few Nakama power up in Naruto. One major one was Naruto getting into 8 tails mode after Hinata's moaning. That's not a common thing in Naruto

Naruto has always described powers very efficiently with logic. THis is one of the main reason I personally was attracted to the anime. Except for the rubbish TNJ scenes, most powers have been defined well in Naruto. Up until the war arc, that is

Naruto has barely any interaction with his friends. Same for Sasuke. Without asspull no jutsu (like Naruto and Sauske being transmigrant of Indra/Asura), Naruto and Sasuke couldn't become stronger. Asspull no jutsu is the substitute to nakama powerup. Like Naruto one shotting a Kage level Kakuzu

Many people say Naruto was totally ruined in the war arc, which I agree. But prior to that, Naruto was a very solid manga where powers made sense. Very few scenes were for comic relief


That's why I can justify asspull no jutsu. It's no different from Nakama power up

Fairy Tail is one of the worst animes I've ever seen. That is the epitome of garbage.

I don't consider that a nakama power-up scene. It was just Naruto's rage over Hinata's stabbing that triggered his transformation. Though, I'd say Kishi tends to explain new abilities quite well. We have seen Naruto learning, training and mastering his techniques. There are rarely any moments where we see characters getting new techniques out of thin air, and when they do it has been foreshadowed. Kakashi's PS was one of the only few exceptions where there really was no logical explanation behind it (Kakashi said it was due to the Rikudo-enhanced chakra but that seems like something Kishi made up on the spot).

Btw, One Piece has just as few Nakama-BS moments as Naruto. Fairy Tail sticks out the most, but Bleach can just be as bad.

I wonder why Kishimoto ruined it in the war arc. Such a shame

I don't hate Nakama powers, but I think it should be quite less. Unless, make it beautiful not for the sake of asspulling.

THere's no explanation how Obito and Kakashu was able to move in Kaguya's gravity dimension while Kaguya couldn't. Kishi didn't explain it

This thread is about asspull, not plot hole. Asspulls are different from plot holes

One Piece 3D2Y special is the sole example of nakama power up, but in canon One Piece manga series, none of it has been shown as such. Luffy is a flexible fighter. I meant Naruto doesn't have many close friends like Ichigo or Luffy has. Naruto has many friends but none of them are too close. Naruto's isolation is the main reason he could understand sasuke and vice versa. People acknowledged naruto after he became strong

Ofc. Still, everyone will react the same if their friends got hurt, not only Luffy. The difference is the strength level one has to be used in a battle, which determines either he's gonna win or not. It's still depends on Luffy's current strength. Emotional boost is not really a nakama power up.

We'll see that once the chapter is out

OT: What about the k-11? ... 10? That's Naruto's friends, right.
