This is a list of the various predictions/theories I've made, I hope you enjoy reading them! :)

1. Why Madara Chose Hashirama's Cells

I think it is a misconception that any Senju or Uchiha who acquires the DNA of one another could simply awaken the Rinnegan with the same high probability like Madara, this is false, the Rinnegan is awakened by the most optimal combination of the two dominant genetic traits of the original Rinnegan bearer: Rikudou Sennin

You must be registered for see images

We know that both the Elder and Younger Son, each inherited a half of their Lord Father's genetic traits: The Powerful Body (Yang) and The Powerful Eyes (Yin) each of them received the optimal quality of those genetic traits in respect, meaning that among the Uchihas and Senjus, the Elder Son received the most potent quality of Rikudou's eyes while the Younger Son received the most potent genetic quality of Rikudou's body.

You must be registered for see images

We know for a fact that neither the Uchiha nor the Senju ancestor possessed the Rinnegan, it is because each of them only received a half of their father's full genetic composition: the combination of the Eyes(Yin) and the Body(Yang)

Since Madara Uchiha discovered that combining the two dominant genetic traits of each ancestor would result in the awakening of the Rinnegan as an artificial process of reverse engineering the original Rinnegan (that of Rikudou's) then it only naturally follows that Madara would want the optimal genetic quality of these two dominant genetic traits as an emulation of the progenitors of the two clans (Uchiha and Senju)

You must be registered for see images

Since Madara possessed the most powerful Sharingan (EMS) then he is the closest emulation of his ancestor (Elder Son)
so to assure the efficacy of the awakening of the Rinnegan, then it only follows that Madara must use the DNA of the most perfect emulation of the Younger Son's dominant genetic trait: that which is found in the person of the most powerful Senju: Hashirama

You must be registered for see images

Through the combination of the DNA of the two most perfect emulation of each of their respective clans' ancestor, the optimal quality of the dominant genetic traits of the original bearer of the Rinnegan is achieved: that of Rikudou Sennin's

You must be registered for see images

With these, the highest probability of awakening the Rinnegan is achieved, if Madara chose any lesser Senju then the reverse engineering of the original Rinnegan would have much lower chances and would have probably ended up in failure.

UPDATE

Clarifications

It is not only Hashirama's DNA but any Senju DNA combined with Uchiha DNA is capable of awakening the Rinnegan, so it is not a conditio sine qua non that only Hashirama's cells could be used to awaken the Rinnegan, however, Madara's choice in choosing to use Hashirama Senju's DNA is not a matter of necessity, but a matter of favorable outcome in terms of maximum probability, Madara, who has the most powerful Uchiha DNA would naturally chose the most powerful DNA of the Senjus: Hashirama's, since the combination of the optimal dominant genetic traits of these two bloodline woulds result in the maximum probability of awakening the Rinnegan, if Madara had chosen a less powerful Senju then his chances of awakening the Rinnegan decreases none the less, the mechanistic principle as specified in Manga canon remains, that Senju DNA per se combined with Uchiha DNA is possible in awakening the Rinnegan, but with lower chances of actualizing the desired outcome.

2. Sasuke Possessing The Totsuka Blade and Yata Mirror
Hasn't it occur to anyone that Itachi could have shared/transferred to Sasuke more than his memories regarding the massacre? what happened the last time Itachi poked Sasuke on the forehead? that's right, he transferred the Amaterasu into Sasuke to fend off Tobi, what if Itachi transferred the Totsuka Blade and Yata mirror into Sasuke before departing to the afterlife?

You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

Now, Orochimaru was searching for the Totsuka Blade that is a variant of his sword Kusanagi, the Totsuka must have been a material weapon once because if it wasn't then why is Orochimaru searching for it in the first place? if it is the variant sword of the material blade Kusanagi, then the Totsuka must have been a material blade too.
You must be registered for see images

So why did the Totsuka became infused with Itachi's Susanoo? it's because he was hiding it from Orochimaru, Zetsu knows of the Yata Mirror because Oro was not trying to find it so he didn't need to hide the fact that his Susanoo's shield is the Yata.

Why was Orochimaru searching for it? it's either because he wanted its' power or he was afraid of it because it's a weapon capable of disabling him despite his immortality or both.

If the Totsuka and Yata were once material, then Itachi must have dematerialized them esp. the blade for two good reasons: 1. He wanted to hide it from Orochimaru 2. His Susanoo can wield them without them having to take up inventory space (if they were material weapons then he had to carry them around, which might lead to theft esp. by Oro) They are known as phase weapons and phase shields in fiction:

You must be registered for see images

Now, since the Yata and Totsuka are already dematerialized and assimilated into chakra energy, then it's only a matter of transferring them from the wielder to another, just like what Itachi did when he transferred the Amaterasu into Sasuke's eyes

You must be registered for see images

If Itachi can do that, then why can't he transfer the Yata Mirror and Totsuka Blade to Sasuke?

You must be registered for see images

It's possible he could have given Sasuke more than his memories, since the last time Itachi touched him on the head he left more than what meets the eye, we thought he was merely doing a gesture of endearment to his little brother but it turns out he implanted the Amaterasu inside Sasuke to finish off Madara. Itachi always plans ahead, so why wouldn't he give his most powerful weapons to Sasuke esp. at the dangerous present Sasuke is living in, thoughts? :D

PS: To those who said Itachi wouldn't trust giving them to Sasuke, reread the last chapter Itachi was in, he lamented that he did not trust Sasuke before, but no matter what he does now, he will always love him, meaning he trusted Sasuke before he departed to the afterlife.

There is also another good possibility that Sasuke already has the Totsuka Blade and the Yata Mirror the moment he transplanted Itachi's eyes into him, but he has yet to awaken them, as itachi1000 pointed out here:

It's entirely possible that Sasuke could have already obtained those items even prior to his encounter with Edo Itachi, it may lay dormant within his Susanoo's arsenal which could be awaken the moment Sasuke manifests his Perfect Susanoo.

3. Creation Of All Things: Uchiha and Senju Ancestors

Many speculate that Rikudou Sennin used the Creation of All Things (COAT) to sire his two sons: The Uchiha Ancestor (Elder Son) and the Senju Ancestor (Younger Son) and I'd like to explain the reason why that is highly improbable.

You must be registered for see images

Rikudou Sennin created the Bijuus through COAT, it involves the administration of imagination, and the spiritual energy (Yin) to create physical forms from nothingness. Then, through the application of vitality and physical energy (Yang) he would breathe life into the resulting creations: The Bijuus

You must be registered for see images

This separation of the Juubi into the nine sentient creatures known as the Tailed Beasts is a synthesis of Yin and Yang into the nine creations which are the separated entities of the Juubi.

That is why the Bijuus have both Yin and Yang chakra.

Without Yin, there was no imagination to form them from, and without Yang, there would be no physical form to put that imagination into actuality. (Kurama's loss of his Yin chakra resulted centuries after his creation, and therefore he was able to survive extricated from him since his initial conception was comprised of both Yin and Yang)

But if Rikudou Sennin created his sons with COAT, then they would not be a synthesis of Yin(Imagination) and Yang(Physicality) but a separation of Rikudou's Yin and Yang into two beings.

YIN
You must be registered for see images

YANG
You must be registered for see images

Therefore, if one was Yin and the other was Yang, then it's not COAT that was used to create them since instead of a synthesis of Yin-Yang, they are a separation of Yin-Yang.

Think of the Bijuus as Pizza:

You must be registered for see images

The toppings are the Yin of the Pizza and the bread is the Yang of the Pizza, divided into slices (Bijuus) that are given in different plate servings.

But the Elder and Younger Son would be like the toppings and the bread separated/not put together

The toppings (YIN)
You must be registered for see images

The dough/bread (YANG)
You must be registered for see images

Also since many, including myself, have theorized that the Sharingan came from the Juubi

then what Rikudou did if he indeed used COAT to create his sons was to weaken the seal of the Juubi which is absurd because the purpose of of COAT in the first place was to prevent the revival of Juubi, then that would be a contradiction of the intended purpose of COAT which is to prevent the Juubi's revival since he would basically weaken the seal of the Juubi by separating his Yin and Yang instead of synthesizing them into one body or one son.

So, through the application of Occam's Razor, the simplest explanation is probably the correct one, that Rikudou Sennin fell in love with a woman, got married, and had two sons: The Elder and the Younger Son.

I know some would be skeptical of the idea of a sage or a cleric to get married (since we initially have the impression of them being celibate) but this is not the case, since the Sage of the Six Paths and the Manga itself directly takes inspiration from Japanese myths and Shintoism, then it's perfectly acceptable for Shinto Priest (shinshoku) and Priestess to get married and have children.

4. Juubi and Consciousness
We all know what Kurama said that the Juubi was the primordial god who created countries and oceans and is the source of all chakra. and it neither has feelings or emotions, but doesn't it? did anyone suspect that the Juubi may have had a "reason" to attack humanity back during the Sage's time? Maybe, just maybe, the Juubi over time formed a consciousness of its' own and saw the world torn apart by war and chaos which caused its' antagonism towards humans? remember that Jiraiya described S06P's time as a time of endless warring and battling, and when there is conflict, the environment is affected, destruction brings imbalance to nature, and thus nature itself reacted to this destruction in the form of the Juubi.

From the start of the series, we were all lead to believe that Kyuubi and the other Bijuus were mindless, feral and evil chakra monsters who terrorized the world, and only afterwards in the plot did we found out that they weren't really evil, they were hostile towards humans because they were treated badly and hunted down for their powers, so I think the same can be applied to the Juubi, that the Juubi over time formed a sort of collective consciousness from nature seeing the blatant disregard humans had for the environment and for life in general and decided to attack/eradicate humanity as retribution.

The sage may have simply saw the Juubi as a threat and subdued it without prior notice of the possible reasons for its' attacks, not that the Sage didn't act out of valor, but maybe he too was somehow misinformed, Hashirama the First Hokage, though he may not have harbor ill-feelings towards the Bijuus, none the less saw them as just means to an end, capturing them and distributing them to the different ninja villages. a source of power to maintain the balance of political power in the shinobi world.

This is a common literary plot device known as "misunderstood creatures" creatures who seem to be evil, or not necessarily evil but harmful, but the truth is they're not, we have just seen the human-side of the Bijuus, is it not possible to see the "human-side" of the Juubi? perhaps it merely attacked humans because of their wanton disregard for life, perhaps this primordial creature had enough of humanity's destructive ways and decided to once and for all eradicate humanity.

This would prove beneficial to the story plot-wise because

a. This would give the opportunity to "reason" with the Juubi (in the event it breaks free from Madara and Obito's control) to stop attacking humans.

b. No one currently living in Narutoverse can truly match the power of the fully transformed Juubi, not Madara, not Obito, not even Naruto. Only the Sage of the Six Paths himself was able to truly defeat it. In the event it breaks free and decides to destroy everyone it could do so single-handedly, but if there's is consciousness within the Juubi, if Naruto will be able to reason with it why humanity really isn't evil, then that provides an option for victory.

c. It would give absolute finality to the threat of the Juubi because even if Naruto was to capture/seal it within a Jinchuuriki or within himself, it will eventually break free again when the host dies, and thus the cycle of destruction will continue, if Naruto can speak to it and convince it that there is still goodness in humanity, then the Juubi might have faith in the light of humanity and will leave them in peace forever.

5. Hashirama and Mokuton

I think one of the possible reasons why Hashirama is the only one in the Senju Clan who is able to use Mokuton is because Hashirama himself is only half-senju and half-Juugo's clan.

Take a look at this:

You must be registered for see images

It's strange that Kishimoto did not give a name to Juugo's clan, as if he wants to build up suspense for a later revelation of their origins. Kabuto says that Juugo's clan possesses special bodies that enables them to passively absorb Nature energy.

Kabuto harnessed Juugo's cells so that he could stay perpetually in Sage Mode even when moving because it allows him to passively absorb Nature Energy.

I think this is the "experiments" along with Hashirama's cells that Kabuto was referring to when Madara asked him how did he know the "secrets of my body" even without the latter having the capability or access in reading the Uchiha Tablet:

You must be registered for see images

We know for a fact that Orochimaru experimented on Juugo's cursed seals on his prisoners:

You must be registered for see images

Though most of them were failed experiments, ending up wild and rabid.

Juugo in fact transforms when he becomes enraged, looking more like an animal than a human with darker complexion:

You must be registered for see images

This could explain why Hashirama's complexion is darker than his brother and the other Senjus, Hashirama is constantly in a state of semi-sage transformation but without the side-effects of becoming berserk like Juugo

You must be registered for see images

Because Hashirama himself is Half-Senju and Half-Juugo's Clan

Because Hashirama is Half Senju, his powerful Senju body allows him to resist the berserk state that Juugo and his clan possessed when in Sage Transformation. He absorbs Nature Energy passively like Juugo, and he is perpetually in a state of semi-sage transformation that makes his skin darker in complexion.

I believe Mokuton is a combination of nature-energy (Sage) and the user's Life Energy (Earth+Water Chakra) that converts the wielder's chakra as a source of life.

You must be registered for see images

It would also make sense that since Mokuton is part-nature energy, it is capable of suppressing the Juubi which itself is comprised of Natural Energy:

You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

And the Bijuus themselves were originally the combined entity of the Juubi (Bijuu Suppression)

Mokuton then (Nature Energy+ Earth/Water Chakra) would be able to create living things when the shell of the Juubi (Gedo Mazo) is used as a catalyst producing Zetsu Clones:

You must be registered for see images

This could also explain the similarity between Mokuton and Juugo's Sage Transformation in the ability to create weapon-like appendages and protrusions from their bodies:

You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

This could also explain the similarity of the repercussions of Mokuton and Juugo's Sage Transformation:

When the user of Sage Transformation cannot control its' power, they become berserk and feral:

You must be registered for see images

When the user of Mokuton however loses control or is depleted of chakra, trees grow from their body parts:

You must be registered for see images

This could also be the reason why the Six Zetsus inhabiting Sasuke responded to Juugo's Hermit Power of the Cursed Seal:

You must be registered for see images

So in Conclusion:

Hashirama is probably only Half-Senju and Half-Juugo's clan (making him a half-brother only of Tobirama) the unique abilities of Sage Transformation allows Hashirama to passively absorb Nature energy, when combined with the life force provided by his Senju Body, he is able to mold nature energy with his earth/water chakra to produce Mokuton. Being a Senju enables him to negate/nullify the side-effects of Sage Transformation (going berserk) because he possesses the Senju's powerful body. Nature energy being the composition of the Juubi, allows Mokuton to suppress/control it because Mokuton itself is partly comprised of Natural energy. This could also explain why Hashirama is the only one among the Senjus who has Wood Release, it's because he is not full-blooded Senju and his mother probably belonged to the same clan as Juugo's who is able to use Sage Transformation. This would make Mokuton unique only to Hashirama.

6. The Alliance and Juubi

I think the last phase of Shikaku's Plan to defeat the Juubi is for Kakashi (with Kurama chakra-cloak) to Kamui the Juubi, or at least part of it in order to incapacitate it.

You must be registered for see images

Remember how in chapter 617 Kakashi was saying that the Naruto-Kyuubi's modified chakra cloak he has now is far more powerful than the kyuubi-chakra he received prior to the Juubi's revival

You must be registered for see images

Then on the next panels Kakashi said that prior to receiving the first kyuubi-chakra he couldn't move large objects or use Kamui in succession

You must be registered for see images

Based on Kakashi's statements, the initial kyuubi-chakra he received made his normal Kamui 3x more powerful, which enabled him to Kamui large objects or creatures like Hachibi.

You must be registered for see images

But this Naruto-Kurama modified chakra cloak Kakashi had received is even more powerful as Kakashi stated:

You must be registered for see images

Based on Kakashi and Shikaku's conversation regarding Kamui and Kurama's chakra, I think the final phase of their plan to stop the Juubi is this:

Kakashi with Kurama-chakra cloak will Kamui the Juubi to incapacitate it

You must be registered for see images

Though it is unsure if Kakashi even with Kurama's chakra cloak would be able to Kamui the whole of Juubi, I think they plan to Kamui a specific part of Juubi's body:

You must be registered for see images

The Juubi's Head

It's called a decapitation strike Kakashi tried to decapitate the Gedo Mazo before:

You must be registered for see images

This time, with the Kurama-empowered chakra cloak, Kakashi will Kamui the real thing: Living Juubi's Head:

You must be registered for see images

Naruto and the Shinobi Alliance might provide distraction so that Obito wouldn't be able to counter Kakashi's Kamui like the last time he did with the Mazo.

Like they did here:
You must be registered for see images

If Naruto and others are attacking Obito and Kakashi Kamui'ing the Juubi's head at the same time, Obito would be in a serious dilemma, will he phase out with his Kamui or will he counter Kakashi's Kamui, but if he does counter it with Kamui, then he will need to materialize a part of his body making him vulnerable to attacks

Not to mention that Obito and Madara have begun to lose control of the Juubi, so they have their hands full at the moment.

I have ascertained that Shikaku's plan was to Kamui the Juubi's head, based on this panel in 613:

You must be registered for see images

The moment when Shikaku said that "were just like flies buzzing around its' head." he immediately contacted Kakashi, and in the page after the panel above, the Juubi's head was shown:

You must be registered for see images

So in conclusion: The final phase of Shikaku's Plan is for Kakashi with the modified Kurama empowered cloak will try to Kamui the Juubi (particularly its' head) in order to incapacitate it so they can deal with Obito and Madara once and for all. Naruto and the others might try to distract Obito so he wouldn't be able to counter Kakashi's Kamui this time

I am not proposing if they are going to be successful or not, what I am proposing is this is what Shikaku had in mind all this time.:D

7. The Juubi's Eye
There is much speculation as to why the revived Juubi only has 6 tomoes in its' eye:

You must be registered for see images

Compared to the 9-Tomoe design we've seen before:

You must be registered for see images

There are many possible reasons as to why this is so, but I would like to give four plausible explanations why the Juubi's eyes currently only has 6 tomoes.

1. The Juubi hasn't fully transformed yet.

The Juubi hasn't fully transformed yet, and it's missing a large part of Hachibi and Kyuubi's chakra, so that could possibly explain the lack of the three tomoes from the original nine-tomoes eye.

You must be registered for see images

2. Change in aesthetic design.

Kishimoto merely found it more aesthetically pleasing that the Juubi's current eye has six tomoes instead of the original nine tomoes.

3. The missing three tomoes went into the Sharingan. (My Personal Theory)

There is also the possibility that the Juubi is the original source of the Sharingan and that the Uchiha ancestor's original eyes were corrupted by the Juubi's influence and that corruption manifested in the form of the Sharingan:

You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

Basically what this theory says is: A part of the Juubi's power went into the Uchiha Ancestor and his descendants, the missing three tomoes of the Juubi's eye is indicative of the dissemination of its' powers into the ocular powers of the Uchihas.

You must be registered for see images

4. The Creation of All Things (Banbutsu Sōzō) took a part of the Juubi's power in creating the Bijuus and Rikudou's Elder and Younger sons. (My personal theory)

The theory states that Banbutsu Sōzō was not only responsible for the creation of the Bijuus, but that it was also responsible for the "creation" of Rikudou Sennin's two sons: The Elder (Uchiha Ancestor) and The Younger (Senju Ancestor) Sons. The missing tomoes represent a part of the Juubi's power, a part of the its' power (one tomoe) went into creating the Bijuus, another tomoe was used in creating the Elder Son and the last tomoe was used in the creation of the Younger Son, thus explaining the 3 missing tomoes from the original 9-tomoed Juubi.

8. Obito's Parents

I have come to the conclusion that based on the subtle evidences in the manga that Obito's parents were long dead before Kakashi Gaiden.

Take a look at this:

You must be registered for see images

In the bottom left corner of the panel there is an adult couple

You must be registered for see images

This along with the other images are definitely not drawings made by Obito because the thin black straight lines present in all images are indicative of photo printing, they are called striations

You must be registered for see images

Now that we have established that all of them are indeed photographs, we can analyze clearly the difference in age of the bottom left's photo from the rest

The bottom left photo featuring the couple are noticeably older than the other photos because of the jagged edges which indicates age from wearing and tearing

You must be registered for see images

Compared to the edges of the other photos which are smooth

You must be registered for see images

We can also ascertain the agedness of the bottom left photo based on the clip that is used to fastened it in Obito's wall

You must be registered for see images

Because the photograph is old, a binding clip is needed to fasten it.

Unlike the other photos that requires only thumbtacks because they are relatively new

You must be registered for see images

We can also determine that the adult woman in the bottom left photo is not Rin because of the lack of the markings in her cheeks like Rin's

You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

Also the woman in the bottom left photo has curled hair ends unlike Rin's

You must be registered for see images

The man in the bottom left photo is definitely an Uchiha because of the design of the collar of the shirt which are worn by Uchiha men.

You must be registered for see images

And the baby in the bottom left photo is most probably a male since the drawing strokes makes it similar to the father's hair

You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

The baby is most certainly Obito.

Based on the the age of the photograph and the evidences at hand, the logical conclusion is:

Obito is a war orphan (and most probably an only child) and his parents died long before the events of Kakashi Gaiden. He is meant to be a parallel of Naruto in that they were orphaned at very young age.

9. Orochimaru's Intentions

It would seem that Orochimaru was indeed crying for Konoha, he didn't tell Hiruzen the truth back then:

You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

Then a few hundred chapters later, we see this:

You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

It would appear that not everything is as it seems, that Orochimaru had a hidden motive as to why he tried to crush Konoha.

I think it has something to do with his parents:

You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

Since Kishimoto loves making characters parallel each other:

You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

Then it stands to reason that Sasuke, who parallels Orochimaru, have the same grudge against the leaf.

Their parents' deaths.

I think Orochimaru tried to take vengeance on the Leaf in retribution to his parent's death, it is also logical to assume that Konoha had a hand in his parent's demise, the same way that Konoha had a hand in the Uchiha Massacre.

10. The Onmyodo/Onmyoji: Rikudou Sennin, Naruto and the Uzumaki Clan

I believe Kishimoto took the Onmyōdō as inspiration in writing the Uzumaki Clan and the Onmyōji Abe no Seimei as inspirations for Naruto, The Uzumakis and Rikudou Sennin, they may not be exact copies of each other but they have many similarities:

You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

The Onmyōdō literally translates as "The Way of Yin and Yang" is an occult system that is an amalgamation of Shintoism, Buddhism and Taoism.

You must be registered for see images

Rikudou Sennin had such mastery over the Yin–Yang Release that he used Yin to make his dreams take form, and then used Yang to make his fantasies real. He could even make them come to life.

The Onmyōji were the practitioners of Onmyōdō, The Onmyōji were specialists in magic and divination. Their court responsibilities ranged from tasks such as keeping track of the calendar, to mystical duties such as divination and protection of the capital from evil spirits. They could divine auspicious or harmful influences in the earth, and were instrumental in the moving of capitals.

The main powers of the Onmyōji are the exorcism and warding off of evil spirits, and commanding the Shikigami (Kami-like spirits)

Just like the Uzumaki technique which summons the Shinigami: Shiki Fuujin

You must be registered for see images

Like the Shiki Fuujin, the Shikigami is summoned through a complex mystical ritual, and like the Shiki Fuujin, the Onmyōji's life and spiritual force is connected to the "Shiki" if the summoner is careless, his shikigami may get out of control in time, gaining its own will and consciousness. In this case the shikigami will raid its own master and kill him in revenge.

The Shiki Fuujin in Naruto however kills the caster automatically:

The powers of the Onmyōjis over demons and spirits are very similar to the Uzumaki's Fuuinjutsus

11. Tobi's True Intentions Regarding Sasuke

We know that Madara's revival with Rinne Tensei Rebirth was part of the Eye of the Moon Plan, and there are strong evidences to suggest that Tobi/Obito wanted to revive Madara all along but his plan got hampered by Nagato's betrayal. But there are also strong corroborative evidences that suggest Tobi/Obito didn't truly want to revive Madara, or at least, did not want to revive Madara after Nagato's death and wanted to use Sasuke as his replacement instead in casting the Mugen Tsukoyomi.

Based on this conversation between Tobi and Zetsu, it is implied that Tobi wanted to revive Madara all along:

But he lost the one who was supposed to cast the Rinne Tensei Jutsu: Nagato

And Obito himself apparently doesn't want to cast it himself, since in doing so would result in his own death:

Many assumed that Obito's statement concerning Sasuke synching with the Mazo has to do with him being Madara's replacement in the Eye of the Moon Plan:

But there is also the interpretation that what Tobi meant by synching was actually in reference to Bijuu extraction:

That Tobi intended Sasuke to synch with the Mazo to facilitate faster Bijuu extraction process.

But Tobi could have intended Sasuke to serve a double purpose:

a.) Sync with the Mazo (Bijuu extraction), and implant the Rinnegan on him to cast Rinne Tensei to revive Madara

or

b.) Sync with the Mazo (Bijuu extraction),and have Sasuke replace Madara altogether in casting Mugen Tsukoyomi (EMS)

Like I said earlier, it is plausible that Obito didn't intended to revive Madara at all based on this panel:

If we work on the premise That Obito didn't intend to revive Madara, then he must have needed Sasuke for the Mugen Tsukoyomi.

It is rather heavily implied that Tobi/Obito himself does not have Tsukuyomi:

Obito not having Tsukoyomi is a form of Madara's insurance that even if Obito didn't like/trust him, he still needed to revive him because Madara was the only one who has Tsukuyomi at that time:

But Obito could've found a loophole in Madara's insurance:

In the person of Sasuke who also had Tsukuyomi:

But there was a problem, Sasuke's Tsukuyomi was still weak:

So Tobi Sasuke to have EMS:

Sasuke didn't initially had/wanted to transplant Itachi's eyes in him:

So Tobi had to pressure Sasuke in obtaining EMS.

Zetsu (under Tobi's orders) tipped the Five Kages of Sasuke's presence in the summit location:

That resulted in Sasuke getting beaten up by the Kages

So after Sasuke got beaten up, he finally decides to acquire Itachi's eyes and get EMS

Tobi's plans for Sasuke is proceeding as intended.

But then he appeared:

And did this:

Kabuto Edo Tensei'd Madara

In the event that Madara breaks free and finds out Tobi intended to replace him with Sasuke, Tobi will be in serious trouble.

That's why Tobi was interested in knowing how to stop/unsummon Edo Tensei:

Of course Kabuto lied about the correct hand seals in unsummoning the jutsu.

And eventually activated Edo Madara:

Which visibly infuriated Tobi:

And to make matters worse Sasuke escapes from the hideout:

Then Madara finally breaks free from Edo Tensei's control:

And Obito did not seem pleased to meet him:

So Obito is now stuck with two fatal options:

a.) He doesn't revive Edo Madara with Rinne Tensei, but the Juubi will break free from their control, thus the Eye of the Moon Plan (their goal) will fail.

b.) He revives Edo Madara with Rinne Tensei so that Madara could become the Juubi's Jinchuuriki but he would die in the process of using Rinne Tensei.

So which is more important to him? his (Obito's) life, or his ideals? Is Obito willing to sacrifice his life for the ideology he and Madara shares, we will find out in the upcoming chapters.

when did u make this?? did u make something similar before with Kain from Soul Reaver in it??
i might have seen it???this looks nice , this is my first time being here though:)
but im glad some people actually think about reasonable possibilities in the story, without
having proof, and it seems extremely plausible..:) great job....are you going to make a
fan fiction type of prediction??(u know, with dialogue & all that?)

The Juubi's eye is of the most interest to me. I really think its an aesthetic design change on Kishi's part, mostly because he might be planning to give the eye to Sasuke. In addition to that, we saw the 6-tomoe shown more than once and in direct relation to the sage, so it makes the most sense that it was an aesthetic change. See here:
