Assigning a specific group rights

alrighty, i have a friend who is running a forum and he has a prob wit assigning specific group rights to moderate only a specific forum. does any1 know how to sort this mess up

Through the Forum Manager of the admin CP.
The specific user group rights need to be edited first.
