Is it just me, or does anyone else who plays the game find the combat difficult? it's really tough compared to other AC games like the first, second and brotherhood (I was very good with these games) I haven't played revalation nor AC3 so I can't say for them, I'll be getting them later on. But this is ****ing aggravating sometimes, if I get detected, I'm pretty much dead if they're more then 4/5 guys, if there's like 3, I can manage. Maybe it's cause I'm in the beginning. But honestly, games good, tho. The combat is what I'm having difficulty with. Anyone got some tips? LOL!

What difficulty are you playing on?
There are no difficulty levels bro.

OT: I felt AC4's land combat was tweaked slightly because of complaints that it was too easy in previous installments.

Just counter precisely when they telegraph their attack and they're about to slash at you. Don't hold down the block button and just tap to start counters. Defensive turtling is less effective in these scenarios.

Also, upgrade your health by crafting armor, and buy a good set of dual swords (I'd recommend the officer's rapiers. Pricey but they work!)

I've been playing AC games since the beginning, 100% on all the singleplayer campaigns and trophies. It's one of my favorite franchises
