It's been a while and I've been hearing they want to make a movie on this famous game. They will eventually make one as Prince of Persia was also in the talks and many years later they made a movie which was a big hit, so I wanted to see who people would like to see play Desmond/Ezio? (if the movie were to get made)

I was thinking either Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp, and/or Orlando Bloom, would suit the role nicely (I know they are old, but still).

I'm pretty sure this should be the right place to post this topic.

I have never seen that show, but heard of it. The actors I have mention are people who I believe can play the role and have done some crazy action/adventure films.

that movie would probably make me jizz my pants.
I would too.

They will make it that's for sure, but depends they can do it in a few years from now when they are done the game series or at least Ezio's part as the next will be his last.

I'm against it. Movies have this habit of ruining good franchise, in the name of making money. Rarely do directors pull off the nature of whatever is is they're trying to imitate.

That's true, but its a win situation for them either way. The people who have played the games will have complaints, but people who haven't will love it.

The same way Prince of Persia was, I mean I liked the movie, but it pretty much had nothing to do with the games in the past. I had cousin/friends who loved the movie, but never played the game. AC the movie will earn a lot of money, there will be some people who haven't played the game, and than people like us will tell them the game was better which motivates them to buy it.

It's raining money for UBISOFT...

They've made a couple animated short films already, but a movie would be awesome.
Yes, surprisingly speaking those short films have done quiet well.
