Assassin’s Creed 4 Details: PC Version Delayed, Easter Egg, PlayStation Exclusives

The upcoming action-adventure open world video game, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag from Ubisoft Montreal that is scheduled to come on PlayStation and Xbox One consoles on October for North America and for UK in November will not be arriving for PC's at the scheduled date but will be reportedly delayed.

It has been reported that the PC version of the game will be arriving a few weeks after the release of the game for current-generation consoles like PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U, BehindGames reported.

The PC version's late arrival was confirmed by Ashraf Ismail, creative director of the game, who said "PC [version] will come a few weeks after [the game's release on consoles]," during an interview at E3 2013.

Meanwhile, it was revealed by Ubisoft that a hidden Easter Egg featured in the game where a 'narrative connection' would lead the gamers to a link to another Ubisoft game, CVG reported.

When Ismail was questioned about the Easter Egg he was not ready to go into details of the link but promised that fans will be happy to find numerous secrets that are hidden in the game's vast Caribbean sea.

Ubisoft is known for hiding Easter Eggs in its games. Far Cry 3 had featured links to Assassin's Creed 3, BioShock and Portal. So one possibility is Far Cry and another is the upcoming game, Watch Dogs but CVG reported that Kevin Short, lead story designer had declined to comment on the issue.

In another story, Sony and Ubisoft has teamed up to give exclusive content and gameplay for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 users for Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, Gamer Living reported.

"Expanding our partnership with Sony Computer Entertainment allows us to offer Playstation gamers even more substance to games that are already rich with content. Regardless of which Playstation console Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag and Watch Dogs are played on, Playstation gamers will be treated to exclusives that will add to their gameplay experiences," said Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing, Ubisoft.

Black Flag has been one of the most anticipated games that is yet to hit the stores. The game which is a sequel to the 2012's Assassin's Creed 3 and has a story about the ancestors of assassins. The game will be featuring Havana, Kingston, and Nassau with players getting to explore in 50 different locations and on both land and water with fewer restriction for the players.

Players will be controlling the Connor's granddad Edward Kenway, a pirate who is also the member of the Assassin Order.

Many gamers are awaiting the release of the game that will have more naval fights and sea travel than its predecessor did.
