Stop wasting time and ask her out for coffee. You don't want anything serious for a first date. This is more of a pre-date and is the time for you to get to know each other and let her know you're interested. If she says yes and you have a successful coffee date, follow up with dinner or something else.

If she's interested in you, then the longer you wait gives another guy time to snag her first or she will lose interest in you. Just do it, the worst that happens is she says no.

i think your date is an excellent idea. the only thing you need to make sure of is that you are having fun. girls like guys that are fun to be around, and often they will go on dates just because they like to hang out with the guy. don't rush things, don't pressure her or yourself, and try to have fun and be less tense.

and if she rejects you, say "i'm sorry i bothered you" and move on. the worst thing you can do at that situation is try and force her to date you. be respectful, and ask another girl for that date.
