Aside from Naruto could the current Gokage take on Madara during the 4th ninja war?

These responses are just a tad unfair. As some pointed out we have t really seen much of them in this form. They didn't take center stage for this fight like the previous Gokage did against Edo Madara.

We don't know the full extent (or the new abilities) of the current Kage. For all we know Dario has the ration armor, hell finger etc. Kurotsuchi might even be stronger than old Oonoki for all we know. Can't really say . I doubt they would win regardless but it may not be the stomp everyone is expecting.

They wreee i mean they get wrecked waay easier than the one's in the war arc, jinton alone shits on anything the current kages have to offer (they have nothing like mega jinton) the experience the the other kages have . IMO some of the kages are'nt even supposed to be kages e.g choujuro and Kurotsuchi. madara would oneshot with all the moves the other kages managed to escape like
- meteor (they have no lightened boulder user, dont know if gaara alone can stop that)
- deep forest bloom (they dont have jinton)
- 25 Susano (they dont have mega jinton)
