Ashura's Avatar = Naruto's Avatar?

Definitely a plothole, but presumably Ashura's avatar is made of his own chakra, and Naruto's isn't (it's made by Kurama's association). But there is a very important difference to notice here. Ashura's avatar is about the size of PS face whereas Naruto's Kurama avatar is equal in size to entire PS. So I guess without Kurama (using RSM on his own), Naruto could make the same avatar as Ashura with the same size. Just using mere assumptions...
