I didn't pretend it wasn't speculation.

I don't see any reason to make that assumption.

You're right, it is besides the point, because there are all sorts of animal contractors that don't use Sage Mode.

Err... I mean, their irises are circular, I guess. That's true for humans too, though. To be honest, slug eyes lack much in the way of distinguishing features.

So in summation, you can’t prove me wrong. As opposed to me, I can prove you wrong because Hashirama is never appearing in the manga again and all of their abilities, history, etc. are finalized. Hashirama doesn’t have any ties to any of the Sage animals nor their regions (save for his relationship with his Granddaughter) and his eyes don’t resemble a slug’s, much like Jugo’s SM.

I don't think you understand how proof works.

Jugo's kekkei genkai is actually derived from Ryuchi Cave, so by your logic he should have snake eyes, no?

I think you’ve acknowledged that you’re in a corner. You can’t defend your stance but I’d love to see when you actually start attempting to.

If Jugo had trained under the Snake Sage, he would have Snake eyes. If we’re going by my logic, that is :sdo:

But stay on topic. Like I’d said, Hashirama’s eyes resemble Jugo’s in SM, where neither of them trained under an animal.

You say I can't defend my stance, but I didn't make an assertion in the first place. You're the one who claimed that Hashirama's sage mode is non-animal based, with no supporting evidence whatsoever to back it up.

neither of them trained under an animal.

Once again, Hashirama's sage mode is something we know very little about. You claim that he didn't train under an animal, but cite nothing except an absence of evidence as your proof. It would be an effective argument if our positions were reversed, but as it stands that's just an argumentum ad ignorantiam fallacy.

All I’ve read is that you can’t prove me wrong, there’s no manga evidence to remotely support your claim and you’re crying about it. Nice concession, brate. :lmao:

Well, I suppose there's no arguing with that. For future reference, I recommend you do some reading on the burden of proof. Understanding how it works is pretty essential for not making a complete fool of yourself when in a debate.

You should take your own advice, the difference between our arguments is that I have at least a few parallels to form a conclusion while you’re actually going off of lack of evidence. The fact that I have to explain that speaks volumes of your intelligence, or lack thereof. But please, continue crying; I like the tune.

Absence of evidence is a perfectly valid appeal when disputing an unsubstantiated claim. Context.
