That was wrong. Naruto manage to equalize Sasuke new found power and strength by absorbing NE. They are equal.

The EMS Sasuke we know was 16 years old, Hashi and Madara were in the prime in their late 20s/early 30s. By the age of 16 Sasuke was already performing the same feats as Madara which shows he was on course to surpass him. Sasuke is one of my fav characters .. And my 2nd most loved uchiha next to itachi.. But even I know EMS sasuke has and had no chance against hashi or Madara !! Firstly Madara was fighting him blind and sasuke used Amaterasu and it didn't effect Madara!

Its true that EMS Sasuke's non Rikudou Susanoo/PS is not similar in size to EMS Madara's PS. Age and maturity couldn't/wont influence the size of PS. It be given. Even I doubt EMS Sasuke's chakra level is comparable to EMS Madara's chakra level. Given how they both already showing their feats in war. Madara is more raw than Sasuke.
Kishi not giving us the slightest hint/clue that could give us the idea of EMS Sasuke will surpass EMS Madara in his life time if without Rikudou power.
Only statements said by some characters is "he will surpass Madara one day" but that is not enough. For me Kishi not putting/using that statement in the context of EMS but Rikudou power or he neglecting it overall.
Now I go to Amaterasu subject. Yes it able to burn any wood easily(element/natural). But throwing those said jutsu still is not enough to burn gigantic size of Mokuton release jutsu

This Mokuton is Gigantic compare to one Sasuke cut in war arc. Refer back to the scan that show Full Kurama and Buddha size.

I will say the branch/root he cut is same size as Full Gyuuki size.
Spamming Amaterasu to burn all those gigantic Mokuton forest created by Chakra powerhouse like Hshirama will eat EMS Sasuke's chakra bcus it been established how large Hashi's chakra reserve was. He can create numbers of Jutsu to attack EMS Sasuke at once (Example, flower tree world(It pollen if inhale can put you to sleep), Mokuton Dragon, Mokuton Golem, Gate of the great God, and others). Try to burn all with Enton or Ama couldnt be an easy task.
He could spam numbers of Amaterasu attack bcus his situation is not that challenging.
1- He used it on juubito (two times)
2- Used it on Juubi.
But most of it was not in serious fight. Juubi got restricted. Juubito just standing and waiting.
But here it up against Hashi and his jutsus one on one. Even Ama couldnt do many thing when he and Itachi was facing Kabuto with all his close environment jutsu advantages. And Hashi is expert in open environment Jutsu.
You need to consider the real size of Hashi's jutsu and the versatility of Hashi in using his jutsu.
