It's plot. Kishimoto, in his thirst for DBZ-style powers, has made the skills of the charcaters completly broken, so he constantly makes inconsistencies at every turn.

It seems to act like an active infection, that rapidly spreads through the body turning it into dust. Naruto can heal wounds, but not stop a killer virus/chakra that spreads through the body. - My assumption.

A susanoo couldn't defend against Kaguya's hair, let alone the bones.

TSB, its way more versatile. However ash bone would overpower TSB.

If her needle hair can beat Susanoo, her ash bones would burn through Susanoo.

After Kaguya used it, the bone thing in her back collapse.

It took too much chakra out of her so it definitely is the strongest attack out there.

Kishi never gave you guys the assumption Naruto can fix anything.. you guys just wanted to believe that.

He couldnt even 'heal' gai.. all he could do was keep him alive. But everyone jumped to assumptions as usual before they understood.
