Looks: Asami is a beautiful young woman who is more than what she seems. She has long and wavy black hair that falls to the middle of her back. She normally wears a hair clip on the left side of her head, yet one strand of hair seems to come loose at any given time. Her eyes are light green, and she often wears makeup, which consists of purple eye shadow, black eyeliner, and red lipstick. Asami dons her family's traditional fighting uniform, including a reversible jacket that's black on one side and red on the other. She wears a long, red coat beneath that as well as an undershirt that varies in color. She also wears a black skirt, boots, and belt to match.

Personality: Asami is sweet and caring, yet she's also independent and capable of fending for herself in tough situations. Even though she's quite used to luxury due to her wealthy background, she doesn't think of herself as "daddy's little girl", despite what some may think. Instead, she maintains a humble and modest demeanor, using her wealth and abilities to help others. Asami's high morality and judgment prevent her from developing any prejudice against anyone. She's able to choose the moral high ground, showcasing her strong character. Despite having a friendly personality, Asami has shown a capacity for jealousy. However, her remarkable character resurfaces once again in the face of hardships and, even though she may be hurt or offended, Asami shows no spite toward those who wrong her. Her caring nature always remains prevalent.

Background Info
History:
Asami Sato was born in Konoha as an only child to a wealthy businessman, Hiroshi Sato, and his wife. When Asami was six years old, a ninja possessing a kekkei genkai invaded her family's home, robbed them, and killed her mother. Because of this, Hiroshi enrolled Asami in Konoha's ninja academy, wanting her to become a shinobi and gain fighting abilities. At the same time, Hiroshi hired self-defense instructors from outside of the village to ensure that Asami would always be able to protect herself. Between her classes at the Academy and her instruction at home, Asami didn't have what most would call a normal childhood. Since she barely had any free time, she wasn't able to really be a kid and make many friends.
As she grew, Asami lived a life of luxury; Hiroshi spared no expense in caring for his only daughter. But despite her fancy clothes and polite manners, Asami developed a tough side due to her time at the Academy and her self-defense training. Also, as she became older, Hiroshi eventually began preparing Asami for the day that she would take over her father's business. Once Asami graduated the Academy at age 12, Hiroshi decided that the self-defense instructors were no longer needed. Asami had become a genin, and it seemed that she was now capable of handling herself. As the years went by, she climbed the ninja ranks and trained hard to become a true shinobi. However, unbeknownst to Asami, Hiroshi harbored a deep grudge against those who possessed a kekkei genkai, and she would learn of his hatred for them soon enough.
Finally, when Asami was 18, Hiroshi elected her as a higher member of his staff, giving her more responsibilities and power in his business. Asami had to start splitting her time between her missions as a ninja and her duties to the business. Yet it was during this period that she developed a closely-knit group of friends, three other ninjas with whom she worked. Asami began spending time with them whenever she could, and she even introduced them to Hiroshi. She didn't know it at that moment, but Asami made the grave mistake of informing her father that one of them possessed a kekkei genkai. At first, Hiroshi reacted as he usually would and showed no indication of his grudge. But later on, when it was discovered that Hiroshi was funding--and therefore assisting--the Akatsuki, Asami and her friends confronted him. That's when she learned that her father had always hated ninja who used a kekkei genkai, ever since his wife's death. Hiroshi attempted to murder Asami's friends, but with their help, she fought against him.
Nearing defeat, Hiroshi extended an invitation for Asami to join him. He promised her that they would leave Konoha and take their business elsewhere, a place where they wouldn't have to deal with kekkei genkai users or any ninjas in general. Right when it seemed that Asami was going to accept, she used a Raiton technique on her father, shocking him. Hiroshi was rendered unable to fight. Asami told him that she would never betray her friends or try to hurt them. She also let him know that she was a ninja of Konoha, and as such, she would remain loyal to the village. It was then that Asami realized that Hiroshi's hatred for kekkei genkai users had extended to all shinobi, and she was now someone her father hated. She had Hiroshi imprisoned shortly after.
As for her father's business, Asami decided to shut it down, instead of claiming her place as the new owner. She fired every member of Hiroshi's staff as well, as she didn't want her father's legacy to be continued. Asami freed herself completely from the ties she had to her father and fully devoted herself to being a ninja. She continues to fight alongside her friends and serve Konoha to this day.
