As much as I diss J-man...i think him vs Itachi and kisame is VERY debatable....

Im too tired to make a long thread so ill keep it short so you guys can discuss/debate/ponder over this.

Here are some key points to remember about this fight:

1. Outside of amateratsu and maybe susanoo, itachi has no counter to the toad mouth bind.

and not firKisame has NO counters to the toad mouth bind.

3. Jman could possibly 1 shot them both with frog song.

4. He could reverse summon one of them to split them up like he did the pain body (If im not mistaken)

5. He could reverse summon himself to prep sm without interruptions, like when pain said he disappeared.

6. Sage arteep fryer could potentially counter any large scale water jutsu kisame might try. It was stated that this jutsu used oil and fire along with wind to increase momentum and heat, it could burn out a valley in an instant. Seeing as it is searing oil and not fire, I dont see how kisame could counter this.

7. Underworld swamp counters Susanoo.

8. Ma and pa counter genjutsu.

I do know that Kisame is handicapped with Itachi there, he can't use Shark Dance without killing him too. And if Itachi gets to a safe distance while Kisame uses Shark Dance, then it's one-on-one, and Jiraiya can definitely beat Kisame by himself.

Either way, the fight is really going to be between Jiraiya and Itachi, to which point I think Jiraiya could pull the win, but they are quite evenly matched in a lot of ways so I'll go with Itachi's assessment of them being equals.
