Doubt we will see a Hashirama vs. Madara rematch, but I agree Hashi would get trounced. He is not Goku, nor does he have any place in the war. Kishi brought them back to tell a story through Sasuke. They will all be sealed shortly enough, probably by Madara himself.

Doubtful. I think Kishi is going for a deeper message than "Naruto gets a power up and trashes Madara/Obito"

As strong as Naruto could ever get... there is just no way one single being will be as strong as this... it's pretty crystal clear that Madara will need to be taken down by both Sasuke and Naruto.

Hashirama is hella strong, but current Madara has Hashirama's arsenal, + EMS and those two together should already make him stronger than Hashirama. Add the Rinnegan and you have a much larger gap.
