What is there to be known about his personality comes from strangers who have met him on their path. Comrades whom he shared a prosperous time with, and even enemies, those who by some miracle survived their encounter with the Abyss walker and lived to tell the tale. Those tales give us an inside view into Artorias' head and mind, so to speak. We know that he was kind but firm, an honest man as well as righteous and selfless. Some notable remarks about Artorias are as such; "He was a dear companion" ... "I must not be presumptuous; Artorias would not have approved" ... "My... dear... Artorias..."

The most important things to Artorias are not any sort of fame, glory, or power, but actually upholding his beliefs and protecting his friends. He is incredibly loyal to his comrades, and incredibly vengeful towards anyone wishing to do harm upon them and his closest friend "Sif".

•Fire Release•
Being his Natural Affinity, Artorias is able to perform all Fire related techniques with the usage of one Handseal only.
•Earth Release•
Due to years and years of training, and living in a village that Earth is it's essence, Artorias enhanced and developed his own skills to a point that allows him to perform Earth related techniques extremely fast.
•Physical Attributes and Agility•
Living on and in between rocks, Artorias made it a choice to use rocks as punching bags. This pushed Artorias to his limits, giving him over time a rock hard body ( metaphorically ), physical prowess (able to carry up to x2.5 times his own body weight ), endurance, sufficient stamina, and fast reflexes due to him dodging and avoiding huge chunks of falling rocks from above that are caused by repetitive hits on mountains sides while training.
•Intelligence and Genjutsu•
Ever since he was a child, Artorias had a keen sense and awareness of what was happening around him. He was also blessed with the innate ability to perceive someone's nature. It was because of this that Artorias took great interest in the history of Iwagakure and hoped that at some point he'd lead the Village and be the successor of his previous leaders. In time Artorias has shown interest in Genjutsu and Mind games, and over the years of intense training under Genjutsu related situations, Artorias has come to an understanding of the basic and inner workings of Genjutsu which allowed him to detect the change in the terrain and any other that factors that Genjutsu depends on thus allowing him to come up with fast and least harmful solutions to cancel out Genjutsu related techniques. Having a Ninken partner, Sif, also serves to Artorias' advantage of detecting, releasing, and countering potentially harmful Genjutsu techniques.
•Passive Abilities•
Being an Inuzuka, Artorias was born with a heightened sense of smell, hearing and other Ninken like abilities like sharp nails, fang-like teeth etc. Artorias is also able to communicate with his Ninken easily and instantaneously even though words are not used.
•Tools and Equipment•
Wolf Ring:
One of the special rings granted to the four knights of Gwyn.
The wolf ring belongs to Artorias the Abysswalker. Artorias had an unbendable will of steel, and was unmatched with a greatsword.
Covenant of Artorias Ring:
This ring symbolizes Knight Artorias' covenant with the beasts of the Abyss. Its wearer, like Artorias himself, can traverse the abyss. ( will be used later on for Custom Jutsu's )
Greatsword of Artorias:
Sword born from the soul of an unknown great grey wolf, sword strikes harder against dark servants.
Cleansing Greatshield:
The steel greatshield used by the Knight. * It is capable of with standing any non-lightning based D - Rank attack
* Will be later made into a CW, as of now this doesn't have any special effects except what a regular greatshield has.
Helm and Armor of Artorias:
Both of these items describe the azure-blue tassle and cape on his armor to be symbols of pride and glory, implying Artorias's pride to be one of Gwyn's four most trusted knights and taking his duties very seriously.
•Ninken - Sif•
While Sif shows great intelligence by having complex sympathy, thoughts, and combat abilities, he is still first and foremost an animal. Sif can not speak. He is extremely loyal to Artorias, though it's shown that they fight side-by-side and Artorias does NOT view him as a pet, but as an equal companion. Their relationship helps to show Artorias's strong connection to nature, especially given that Artorias met Sif when the wolf was young and befriended him on his travels. Artorias also has an enormous deal of affection for Sif, sacrificing his shield and ultimately his life ,if needs be, to save his closest friend. Sif returns this affection by guarding Artorias even after death has torn them apart.

*Pre joining the NarutoVerse, this history does not affect the RP side of the Bio, it is simply here as fanfiction *
Not much is known about Artorias's childhood but in his adult life, and before joining Iwagakure, he was one of the four head knights of Gwyn, who were given special rings to mark their importance. He was known as the abyss walker, since he had a special ring that would allow him to traverse the abyss without being engulfed. With the fear that abyss was spreading, possibly from a corruption source based in Oolacile, he was sent by Gywn to investigate. He could not withstand the corruption of the abyss, so in desperation he protected his companion, the young wolf Sif, with his shield and became corrupted. There is also the possibility that he was manipulated to become the next dark lord by Kaathe, however since he left the shield to protect Sif, I do not think that was the case.
To be continued/rewritten by time. Too busy to elaborate on the story. This is only a place holder as I wanna integrate his past life into the Narutoverse in a way that makes sense.
