A few nights ago, ideas flooded into my mind, so I stayed up late writing it. It is merely an OC character of mine who is reminiscing about her past relationship with Deidara and her coming to terms with his death. I incorporated many descriptive adjectives and emotions regarding the OC's feelings about art. It's a rather poetic piece. I do hope you enjoy it.
I could smell it in the swiftly moving air…
I could feel it in the tremors of the earth…
I could hear its echoes resounding in the rustling summer trees…
I could almost see it through the clouds of gray dust…
Just a little further…
I rushed through the trees and undergrowth, into a spacious clearing…
There it was, true art; an explosion!
I stared in complete awe at the spectacular display of colors and the wisps of silver smoke waltzing about.
In my eyes, everything about it was utterly glorious.
Only one thing could surpass this miracle; the creator of this masterpiece.
There he was, aloft upon another of his beautiful works of art; dark cloak billowing and blond hair swishing, framing his perfect face.
Clear glistening tears seeped into the corners of my eyes; such joy, flooding through my veins…
His gaze found mine, and lingered. A grin formed opon his soft lips; oh, how I love that playful smile…
At that time, my tears were the result of pure happiness, but then my heart was shattered into millions of shimmering shards of glass.
Now, those are just nostalgic memories, heavenly memories…
My tears have become the essence of longing and sadness…
That wonderful art and the courageous man who created it, is gone; an everlasting disappearance.
Yet, he, and our love for each other, will remain in the depths of my delicate soul for eternity.
It’s ironic… he always told me that true art is fleeting, only lasting for a short while.
Back then, I agreed, but now, I understand; He was true art.
