so I've been working on this the last week for my mom today, thought it was worth sharing before i give it to her.

a little about the piece without going to deep... beauty is the overall theme since i find her to be but i also wanted it to be goofy, free spirited, mystical and nurturing like her, in a meaningful way that she would understand. a mix of watercolor, prismacolor pencils, paints, pens, markers, paper clippings, poster clippings, tape and glue on a canvas. my style art style developed this way for my album covers, in music you combine a bunch of different mediums/instruments and elements together for a song, so that's my main philosophy when approaching art as well.

Why a cow ?

Well it's a cat with a cows head. My mom thinks cats are saying "cow" instead of "meow, so it's like a inside joke that 1 in 3 cats may have a cow.
