Art Escape

So... it's been a really long while since I've made a thread. Any kind of thread. The RP ones feel like they belong to another life or something. But not many of the people who are still here would know what I'm talking about. Anyway, for those of you who don't know what I do and stuff like that, I draw. I dream of drawing. I find as many free minutes in a day as I can only to draw. Because it makes me feel at ease. And it also makes me concentrate on every little detail. It gives me a way to escape from daily s... let's call it stuff.

And what do I call this hobby of mine? I call it an art escape. Escaping in another world through art.

Most of the times, I do it for myself, because I want to eventually create a whole world, a world that could feel alive through my drawings alone. And most of all, I want the characters I create to be as real as possible. Real as in giving all the right feels.

Ofc, most of my drawings are characters, from an anime or a comic or whatever. However, all of them are characters who inspired me in a way or another. So, until I create that world that I dream of, I would really appreciate any support, any advice, any critique, any challenge or anything else you can think of.

Right now, I have a FB page where I respond faster than on NB, and currently working on a YT channel as well (if you can consider that one video means I'm working on it). But really, I love interacting with people about art, so I shall be waiting for you

Love the expression Joker has as well as that wounded Batgirl. (Opinion on the redesign?)

OOh the good old days Lara. Well i was new but still the time I had with You, Hansom, Kyon, and other great artists on NB was just amazing and it was all worth it. Nb was the only place where I could tell myself that yes, I'm not wasting my time on the internet. So yeah, Thankyou for the...well...sharing you artwork with us and all.

Wow, this is basically a first. Being tood that realistic suits me better. Thank you! I will really keep that in mind and maybe focus on it some more when I'll work on my own stuff :3 Hmm there's not much of a time gap, they've all been drawn in 2015, along with the recent Fairy Tail art contest entries (in black and white). I just wanted to try some DC drawings after beeing hooked onto some of the movies and animated films. Also I have a thing for Barbara Gordon.

You mean you would like to give an opinion on a redesign? Sure! I'd love to hear it!

The good old days indeed :3 although that was basically my mid-NB age so to say (first there was RP, battling, teaching etc, but then I turned to drawing for the contests), I still miss the old contests. I remember how much Hansom was motivating me through his drawings and shadings (those shadings!!) although we never really chatted xD

It's nice that I got to keep in touch with some of you guys on FB as well :3 and thanks for all the support this whole time!

It could be the fact that DC stuff has more details than anime (especially FT) but yeah it just seems like you do the coloring and expressions better. Anime stuff is pretty good as well tough.

Idk. It just looks too rogue and very non-batman like
No armor, no stealth, and debatable gadgets. Ik they went for a lighter tone but I don't think it suits a character that has been shot through a spine and tied to a wheelchair for such a long time.

Arkham Barbs is my favourite tough. So, your opinion?

I mean Babs as Oracle meant a lot, like although you have a physical disadvantage, you still own the game. Even though she was pretty down with her moral at first, and seeing **** being able to do all the small stuff that she couldn't anymore only pained her. So yeah, I only know most of her story up to becoming Oracle, so not sure what to say about the new 52.
