Arsène is a young man with short, messy black hair and dark gray eyes. During the day, Arsène can be seen wearing a buttoned up black blazer that has red buttons, a white turtleneck shirt that has two black chevrons on the collar and black and red plaid trousers. He also wears black glasses, though he doesn't seem to need them for vision correction. He is often seen walking around with a shoulder bag which he seems quite protective of.
When he is on a crime spree, however, Arsène dons a black, long tail coat with a gray collared shirt, black trousers and a pair of red gloves. He also wears a mask in the shape of a white bird with a black design around the eyes.
Arsène's personality is an ambiguous one. At first glance he seems like a shy, friendly and somewhat geeky guy. He seems lazy and exhibits quite a lot of lethargy when surrounded by a crowd. He keeps a low profile and tends to not get involved in the business of others, especially during the day.
But, this masks his dark side--an extravagant and calculating criminal who does not have a problem with causing trouble as long as it hurts corrupted individuals who oppress others in order to liberate the people from their power. His actions are best describable as vigilantism. He follows his own path and does what he believes to be right. He is the true definition of a ''Gentleman thief''.

Arsène grew up in what was possibly the most vile and corrupt part of Kirigakure. Not a day went by without a single crime. From petty thievery, to public violence...and even murder. The reason for him living there wasn't his social status nor did it mean his family was poor. In fact, his parents used to be quite wealthy. It was due to that fact that many people had it out for them. Criminals blackmailed his family. Threatened his family. Stole from his family. There wasn't a single day where they could feel safe.
Until a certain deal was made. A large criminal organization offered to cease their harassment in exchange for the absolute loyalty of the family. His mother, who was pregnant at the time, was indecisive. She had the chance to finally bring peace to her family, although it would be at the cost of the safe upbringing of her unborn son. His mother and father eventually decided to accept the offer...As long as their son would never find out about the choice they made.
His father was often forced to commit crimes such as thievery. Other times he was simply on an illegal delivery. Either way, he knew that even though what he did was evil his family would be able to feel at least a little safe again. Around the time Arsène turned 15, his father suddenly disappeared. The criminal organization denied that they were responsible, but did say that as long as no one in the family was answering to the deal, it would be off. It was around this time that Arsène became fully aware of the entire situation that had transpired during his life.
He started to develop a strong hatred towards the strong who terrorized the weak and ended up taking over his fathers' criminal legacy. Although there was one distinct difference between the two. While his father answered to the lowly criminals who threatened him and his family, Arsène answered to no one but himself. He finally decided to bite back at the dogs that harassed his family for years by becoming a modern day ''Robin Hood''. He entered the Ninja Academy to acquire the fundamental skills of a Shinobi and became a true vigilante.
